  1. The best I have found. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Feb 2019

Far and away a completely different level of comfort, smoothness and definition. Like most, I initially felt that the price could not possibly be justified. The return policy was absolutely essential to my giving the pick a shot. I will not be returning it. The price is completely reasonable given the performance. This pick is just as essential to my playing experience as having my instrument set up perfectly to my needs.

This pick has the perfect articulation for my 335 style guitar. It helped bring the guitar to life sonically.

  4. Awesome Pick 5 Star Review

I absolutely Love this guitar pick! I have thumb muscle atrophy and this pick seems to just naturally adhere to my skin. The material it is made of is fantastic! . I also perform allot of economy picking and highly recommend this pick for this technique.

  5. Love these picks... 5 Star Review

Third Blue Chip pick and I love this one, too.. Great for bluegrass fiddle tunes on my acoustic or rock/jazz on my electrics: great tone, stays steadfast between my thumb and index finger, the real deal.
Easy to palm for fingerpicking, too. Now I'm trying their other models to zero in on a pick I like the best, expensive but worth the cost. I often don't review musical products, but, I was taken
with this pick. I thought it seemed expensive at first, but, after using it for a while, I eventually came to the conclusion that I was glad I pulled the trigger. Highest recommendation!.

  7. Finally found the one. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Dec 2017

I've been searching for a pick that does everything I need for many years. I've tried them all... Buffalo horn, hardwood, all manner of xxxTex, and never found anything that was a fit beyond the trusty Fender 347. Then I delved into the premium market. Hated Wegen, just seemed like thick brittle plastic to me.
Then I finally found Blue Chip Jazz LG 60. Wow. Not only is it the perfect shape, but the material actually improved my accuracy AND provides much better tone. What more can you ask? Having the ability to engrave is icing on the best cake ever.

  8. One of the eight best picks I've ever played with 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Jul 2017

I received my Jazz LG60 in my most recent order. BC was kind enough to put a slight bevel on it, even though that wasn't listed as an option when I ordered. It's everything I expected, mainly great feel and great tone. That said, I have eight different BC picks now and I love playing with all of them. They sit out beside my practice chair and I switch around during my sessions. My Jazz LG80 is a real go-to, because I work a lot on Pat Martino-style lines. The CT55 was a really nice surprise, since it's larger and thinner than I thought I'd like, but I love it, too. And, of course, there's the Jazz LG100, which gives the warmest tone of any pick because of it's thick, pointed tip. I look forward to trying out a few other styles of BC picks in the future. Thanks!

  9. nice and crisp 5 Star Review

I liked the thicker picks, I wanted to try a pointier one so I grabbed this. The point did just what I hoped it sounds great on my Old Wave oval A and all my guitars. I do prefer the triangle on the mandolin because I also like the rounded side but for my smarting 00018-he and my electrics this pick does great!

  10. Best pick ever? 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Mar 2016

I've been searching for the perfect pick for years now, and I think I've found it! The size is perfect, the material comfortable, the point is perfect for my purposes (I play lots of fast stuff, shred, jazz, metal, classical etc.), the tone is phenomenal and the pick just doesn't wear. Normally I see significant wear in a traditional jazz 3 after about 2 days, to give you an idea of how fast I wear down picks.

It's worth mentioning that it takes a number of days to "break in" though, regarding the tone. It starts out sounding a little bit dull, but then colors up after a little while. After that, the tone seems to stay that way and any sort of "wear" just stops. It's actually kind of weird, but I like it.

It's also worth mentioning that the customer service is amazing! As a joke, I wrote "maybe throw in a chocolate bar or something" and they actually did lol! It was a tasty chocolate bar, and this is the perfect pick. Next I'll see if I like the right hand speed bevel better than the universally rounded one :)
