Blue Chip Plectrums are the best Guitar Picks available!

Posted by John on 30th May 2023

Blue Chip Plectrums are the best Guitar Picks available! The feel and grip are perfect! I’ve spent 100’s of Dollars on cheap Picks and I’d rather have a Blue Chip Pick more than any other Plectrum!

It only took me 40 years

Posted by Dave on 23rd Mar 2023

Like most guitarists I’ve tried tons of picks, thick, thin, large, small and from nylon to stone. I decided to try a Blue Chip because of the material used to make the pics. Before I retired I worked for the company that makes the material, and yes it’s not cheap. It’s strong, resists temperatures way higher the you would ever achieve playing guitar no matter how fast you can play. All that aside, as soon as I hit the first note I knew this was it for me. It’s easy to grip and glides across the strings and the strange thing is I really do feel more connected to the instrument.

    What happened??

Posted by Brian K. Stewart on 21st Oct 2022

I bought one of these picks 7 years or so ago, and loved it-- loved it right away and still love it now. It's my number 1 pick, producing exquisite tone. And then I got worried about losing it and wondering what I would do if I lost it just before a gig. And so I ordered another one, identical. Except it's not identical, despite having the same name and number. Besides being very slightly larger, which is not the end of the world, it appears to be made of a different material -- at least, the colour is different -- and, most importantly, it sounds like, uh, crap. Not the worst sound I've ever heard, but nothing like the first one sounded, and nothing like what I would expect from such a pricey pick. I'm really sorry to have to give this such a lukewarm rating. I've raved about BlueChip for years.

    The PERFECT pick!

All thru grad school I searched for a pick that was slick, but had bite when I needed it. A pick that I could grip but didn't need a death grip to keep in the right orientation. A pick that lasted longer than a 3hr gig. Blue Chip hit ALL THOSE MARKS. I love these picks!

precise picking! no pick sound :)

Posted by Charlie on 8th Nov 2021

I bought this pick to compare it with CT55 and TD60 to play my F5 mandolin. I find it more precise to play with compared to the others, the tone is clearer and louder. I love it. All 3 are complementary, depending on the style, speed and desired tone and volume. A must have! PS. I have my CT55 for more than 8 years now and it is still like new!

    bluechip oicks rock!

I love the sound and feel. Less friction noise crossing the string, and they don’t slip around on me! I like the 60 for electric guitar, the 80 for acoustic.

    Slick and no pick noise!

This pick is great! it was a step up in tone, speed, and feel from the Dunlop Jazztone picks I had been using. I liked it so much that I ordered a different shape one so now I am covered for all sorts of different playing.
