  1. It's really the material. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Oct 2023

It's the material that really matters. The reason I use Blue Chip picks is simply because they do not wear out, at all. Yes, they are expensive, so if you're someone who loses guitar picks often or easily I don't think I'd recommend these picks because there's nothing worse than reaching into your pocket and not feeling your new expensive pick there, haha. I started out using their Jazz LG 80 but now I use the Jazz LG 100 because I require a pick that will not bend. They have a very subtle tone that almost sounds as if the string is picking itself. Or rather they don't have the normal pick sound. So until I find a cheaper pick that will not wear out at all, for me, Blue Chip is the way to go.

  2. Big fat tone 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Jun 2023

This is a bigger Blue Chip pick and I don’t use it for all tunes but for ballads it is wonderful. I have a collection of 30+ Blue Chip picks and have narrowed it down to this and one another. When you realize the pick is as important to a guitarist as a bow is to the orchestral string player, you understand the significance of Blue Chip picks.

  3. 7 Years and still the best! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Oct 2021

Best for quality in the finished product, best for my personal style of play. I try every similar pick that gets placed in front of me, and not a single contender lasts more than one round against this pick!
LG Jazz 100 has contributed to my playing greatly these past 7 years.

  4. Long Time User 5 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Jan 2021

I have been using the Jazz 100 OG for 8 years now. I have only become more convinced of the excellence this pick is.
Spent more than $1000 on them over the years.
I am writing this to add that I received very satisfying customer service when my last order of 2 picks arrived with only 1 pick in the envelope. Blue Chip sorted it out for me promptly. Great pick and great service.

  5. The pick that let you focus on picking techniques 5 Star Review

The pick that let you focus on picking techniques

Before I received my Bluechip pick, I felt like I spent half the time "fighting" to control the pick, making it harder for me to focus on proper techniques. I had tried all kinds of pick, such as acrylic, woods, stones, metals, and my picking hand felt like "fighting" all the time.

When I tried the BC Jazz LG100 for the first time, I felt a goosebump on my body because the pick glided effortlessly against the strings instead of fighting to get off the strings. My ability to focus on proper picking techniques has gone up dramatically. Yes, I do mean dramatically.

As an advanced beginner, I am glad to discover Bluechip pick, which will improve my skill set to the intermediate level soon.

In summary, $75 is another good investment I made in my quest to become a better guitar player!

  6. coolest Pick I Own. I have 5 now!! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Jul 2020

I have been playing guitar for 20 years. This is the coolest pick I’ve ever used. I have a pick box with hundreds of different picks. I’ve tried every pick I’ve run into. Clear sound but smooth running off the strings and stay in your hand well. When playing fast funk it doesn’t want to spin around on you. For shredding it’s super fast. For blues it’s strong and stays in place. For rock...well it’s the best.

I love the sound this makes. It’s distinct and unique !

  8. Look no further! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 31st Jul 2019

If you're into "Jazz III picks", this has to be THE best one on the market. It's such a pleasure the way this pick feels between my thumb and index finger for melody phrasings, staccatos, or even speed alternate picking runs. Once you practice a bit with this sharper point, you'll soon figure out just minor adjustments to minimize or eliminate the feeling of any 'pick resistance' for cross-string playing as well. The point on this pick is so nice for articulation. I couldn't understand anyone not approving this pick.

  9. Excellent guitar pick. Darker, Warmer sound for Traditional Jazz 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Feb 2019

For me the pick gives me a darker, warmer sound. I usually play an archtop guitar with heavier strings and the pick helps with the sound that I go for.

  10. Solid, heavy pick that does not wear out easily 5 Star Review

Posted by on 31st Jan 2019

I find the pick provides a warm tone which is what I usually I look for. No noticeable wear after several months of playing.
