The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 40/1000 of an inch thickness(1.0mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I don't care where you go for guitar picks. You will never find picks better than Blue Chip Picks. I have a shopping bag full of various models and have tried them all. None compare. Smoot, clear, balanced they bring out the great tone in my Martin D28 modern deluxe guitar. But even more important than the picks are the people who own the business. It is rare that you find folks who are genuine without all the gimmicky marketing tactics. I will never buy from anyone else.

Blue is the best pick on the market. No pick compares to the sound. But why does it have to cost $35? I've settled on the TP40 because it triples the life of the pick, if I don't loose it that is.

Amplifies sound like no other, and it's versatile too - i.e., it can tread very lightly too. Great product - encore!

I wanted to try a slightly smaller pick than the TAD45 I've been using. I very much like the smaller size and it seems to make doing a tremolo a bit easier. In my opinion the quality, precision and durability of Bluechip picks continue to be the best on the market.

I have a TPS 40 that is a fantastic pick, but I have smaller hands and the TP 40 with its slightly smaller size just seems to fit even better

well i orded TP-40 FROM YOU about 4 or 5 years ago and man it still plays loud and sounds real good but this TP-40 IJUST BOUGHT has not got the volume my old one has and it seems thinner than my old one my old TP 40 BRINGS OUT THE SOUND ON MY MANDOLIN but the new TP 40 makes my mandolin sound real low the new pick feels a lot thinner to for some reason i guess i will stick to my old TP-40

I have several other Blue Chip picks, but after trying about a million options a few years ago, I found that the TP40 worked best for me. I'm right handed, but I prefer a left hand bevel. I now have at least a dozen TP40's, and can't imagine using anything else. I used to completely wear out a Tortex pick in a matter of days, but I have yet to see any appreciable wear on any of my Blue Chips, and so far I've never lost one. Knock on wood!

I've been playing Blue Chips for several years. I love the feel in my hand and the smoothness of cross picking and alternate picking. I even use them on my electrics.

I've been pickin' a TP 50 for 2-3 years now and thought I'd like some more flexability in my pickin' hand and a more trebley tone so I went with a TP 40. I got to say I'm pleased. I have a brighter tone, and more flex in my pickin' hand. So I bought 2, one for acoustic and one for electric. We'll see where I'm at in another 2-3 years. My original TP 50 still looks brand new, and plays and sounds like the day I bought it. I play it everyday. I love that I can pick up a TP any way and get to pickin' without any hiccups. It feels the same every way. I imagine I'll get 10+ years out of a pick. I'd highly recommend any Bluechip pick you like. They're worth it for days if you're not the lose a pick kinda person.
