Product Overview
The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 40/1000 of an inch thickness(1.0mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

5 You dont know what youve got till its gone.
Posted by carl jarrett on 2nd Jan 2026
I got a couple of blue chip picks just on a whim because I thought it would be a cool birthday present for girlfriend. I got two just so she could pick her favourite and I could have the other. I didn’t believe the hype ( it’s just a pick after all) now I’ve lost mine; can’t put the devastation into words; I’ve got literally hundreds of picks and I can’t stand using any of them. The blue chip picks glide over the strings in a certain way plastic picks don’t, they sound smoother and they don’t slip from the fingers. Even though they’re stupidly expensive and take weeks to arrive, I’m going to have to order more and be way more careful. It’s true what they say; You don’t know what you e got till it’s gone.

4 Favorite pick for acoustic, best tone.

The only pick I use when playing my acoustic guitar. Best tone I've ever had, smooth and full. No trouble hanging on to it. It has been my favorite pick for over 3 years now.

5 So Great!
Posted by Unknown on 30th Nov 2025
I took a chance on this pick and am very glad I did. I use it on a D28 and an Ibanez arch top.The tone sounds fuller and the rigidity of the material. I can only echo others as to how it adheres to my fingers. I would definitely buy it again.

I have been buying blue chip picks ever since they started. The best acoustic guitar picks that I’ve ever used, hands down !

5 Well worth the price

I know Blue Chip picks are expensive. But they feel great (it's hard to explain but they feel like they adhere to my fingers) and glide smoothly on the strings. A bit clicky on electric guitar but perfect on a Martin.

5 Great tone from this pick
Posted by Unknown on 31st Oct 2025
Sounds great and glides off the strings very smoothly. I originally had a defective pick delivered that had an over burnished edge that curled up slightly. Customer service responded quickly and sent me a new one ASAP. Very happy with my new pick. I cannot see it getting any better than this.

5 Adheres to your finger
Posted by Unknown on 16th Oct 2025
I like that the pick becomes more tactical as it heats up with use. It will adhere to your finger and prevents slippage or twisting. Not flimsy or prone to bending. Provides a clear and lasting tone. It’s more expensive by a good margin compared to a standard pick, but the material doesn’t wear. This pick has become my go to pick.

5 This product continues to get better the more I play with it.

After I used this pick for just 5 minutes, I realized that it provides the best connection to my instrument, that I have ever had. Just like premium tires on a vehicle can make the driving experience excellent, I am now playing scale notes faster than I ever have before. I will be purchasing more Blue Chip picks.

5 I laughed, I cried, I came to terms...

...with the fact that paying thirty-five bucks for a single pick was something I was capable of. I never imagined myself doing such a thing. Yet, here we are. But, the material used is really something. Slick, yet grippy. How is it that something so smooth could also grip firmly, and even better with the slightest moisture on one's fingertips? Strange, and remarkable. I bought the triangular-shaped TP40, and I love it. I don't worry about the angle I pick it up, as any side is as good as another with this design. The 1mm thickness is perfect for me, with just a smidge of flex, but firm for quick runs of notes. Just perfect, for my playing, anyway. But, decide for yourself. I saved up a few days' worth of coffees for it, and it's worth it to me. If you get a chance to try one before committing, that's lucky. I live in a very rural area, and so there are no guitar stores anywhere within a day's drive, so I just took a chance. I'm glad I did. If you're picky (see what I did there?) about your playing, you may find Blue Chip picks are just your thing, as I discovered. Good luck, friends! Joe G - Bishop, CA
