The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 40/1000 of an inch thickness(1.0mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Been using TP 40’s for a long time. The “40” seems to be the one that sounds right on so many different guitars. Other models (35 and 50) get used to but the 40 is the go to.

Slippery across the strings yet grippy when playing. I LIKE it.

I have the TP 40. This pick is so much better than I hoped. It glides across the strings, stays in your fingers with no slipping or hard gripping.
It also seems to have a natural compression the evens out string tones so that that B string doesn’t ring out in the sometimes loud and harsh manner that it can.
I highly recommend these picks. Is the best pick I have used in 50 years of playing.

My headline should explain it all! My first was a TD40, I liked it so much I purchased the TP40 for the larger triangle shape. I have tried many picks, some higher end and still use them but the BlueChip is a cut above! I like the sound it generates and the feeling when it strikes the strings. The BlueChip company is AAA+ with great communication and fast shipping. All in all well worth the price!

Excellent in all regards. Perfect size, perfect thickness for my old acoustic Fender. Worth every penny!

I love the TP40's. They are smooth as butter. Love the fact that it has 3 picking edges and all of them sound equally good.

Albeit expensive, it's definitely a nice pick, as there are plenty of positive reviews which testify to this fact. But for me, well, I found the TP-40 to be too dull for my tastes. It just didn't produce the crisp notes I was looking for. The Ultex 1.0 pick I compared it too sounded much better, and I felt it was just as quiet moving across the strings. In any case, I'm not too disappointed in my purchase, for I have helped another group of human being on this earth pay their bills. :)

Just bought a Blue Chip TP40. It's fast become my favorite. I have two TAD's a 40 and a 50, both are several years old and the 50 rides in a keychain holder. The TAD40 snapped in half a month or so ago and that's what triggered the TP40 order. I like the slightly smaller TD better and three pointed corners as well. These are just great picks that give a beautiful blossoming sound from your strings. I've tried a wide range of materials and the Blue Chips always triumph. They have a great adhesion as well in gripping them. It may seem like a lot for a plectrum but they are worth every penny. P.S. My TAD40 was repaired with a thick-set superglue then sanded smooth, I have that old friend back as good as new.

Wish I had something bad to say about the pick.... but I don’t. You get what you pay for... quality. Feels great when I strum my guitar strings and creates a crisp sound. I will buy another one in the future. Little pricey , but the outcome is great Great pick overall
