Product Overview
The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 40/1000 of an inch thickness(1.0mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

5 great picks
Posted by Donald Lyle Garnas on 18th Oct 2023
I don't know why these picks are so good. I have been playing guitar for 66 years and these are the very best having tried many others.

This was my first time trying a blue chip pick and I very much love the sound and feel these picks provide. The customization was also an added bonus along with speedy shipping :)

4 curiousity Cured
Posted by Unknown on 22nd Aug 2023
I splurged and ordered 2 different picks. I was challenged online with determining the difference between them. I just picked two and hoped for the best. I received the picks and both work well. However, I’m not sure any guitar pick is worth $35. My curiosity is cured.

5 Works great

I bought two. One lives with my dreadnaught and the other with my strat. They pick and strum well on both guitars. It’s a much better pick than what I’d been used to for flatpicking.

5 Truly amazing and extremely pleased!!
Posted by ELR on 3rd Aug 2023
My Goodness I tell you what I have been playing blue chips for the last 4 years in my bluegrass band Booze Hounds Bluegrass. I will never go back to another pick. My picks have never chipped, broke, or shredded material in my experience of owning 3 and I am a hammer handed flatpicker. My mandolin player also rocks the TAD40 and he has had the same one for many years. I had the TP48 for 2 years and I came to realize I needed a thinner pick. So I went down to the TP40 and it’s a game changer! I had a small issue with my local mailing service in my hometown (**By no means BC’s fault**) and I emailed BC looking for a solution and had an immediate response handled with outstanding customer service and a solution. They are truly the best. Booze Hounds Bluegrass thanks BlueChips for never letting us down and keeps us Jamming! Pick ON!

5 What difference can a pick REALLY make?

If it’s a Blue Chip pick, the answer is all the difference in the world. An absolute game changer in grip, speed, technique and ultimately tone. I was blown away.

5 Like having an upgraded guitar
Posted by Linda VonBergen on 18th Jul 2023
Very nice--it gives me a quick release from the strings and provides a good grip. It also warms up my Collings D1A, like upgrading and already good guitar. I highly recommend the TP40.
