The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 40/1000 of an inch thickness(1.0mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I had Matthew make me a TP35 sometime back. Had to designate “TP35” in notes. I think the TP 40 is probably the most versatile of all the models as it seems to bring out better sound on a lot of guitars and I have made a LOT of new BlueChip believers by letting them use mine. The TP35’s I got to use on OM’s and 000 bodies and also let my bandmate try on her Henderson D18………had to get her one so she would give mine back

I have several Blue Chip Picks for different guitars and mandolin. I love them all. The TP 40 is thinner than my others but I wanted to try it on my Custom Shop D-28, which has a tendency to be a little heavy on the low end. Great results! Brightened the tone and increased my flat picking speed. Highly recommended for flatpicking Martin Dreads.

I like the to48s and these tp40s for some tonal variation.

The first thing I noticed is they make very little attack sound when the pick first hits the string. It doesn't spin while in use and that is my favorite feature of this pick. It is almost magical that way because it feels smooth like most other pick yet it doesn't spin like other smooth picks. I believe it will last a long time which makes it more than worth it.

I don't care where you go for guitar picks. You will never find picks better than Blue Chip Picks. I have a shopping bag full of various models and have tried them all. None compare. Smoot, clear, balanced they bring out the great tone in my Martin D28 modern deluxe guitar. But even more important than the picks are the people who own the business. It is rare that you find folks who are genuine without all the gimmicky marketing tactics. I will never buy from anyone else.

Blue is the best pick on the market. No pick compares to the sound. But why does it have to cost $35? I've settled on the TP40 because it triples the life of the pick, if I don't loose it that is.

Amplifies sound like no other, and it's versatile too - i.e., it can tread very lightly too. Great product - encore!

I wanted to try a slightly smaller pick than the TAD45 I've been using. I very much like the smaller size and it seems to make doing a tremolo a bit easier. In my opinion the quality, precision and durability of Bluechip picks continue to be the best on the market.

I have a TPS 40 that is a fantastic pick, but I have smaller hands and the TP 40 with its slightly smaller size just seems to fit even better
