The Jazz LG is a pick that is very similar in shape to our original Jazz pick. It is slightly larger than the regular jazz pick. This is a Jazz LG in a 40/1000 of an inch(1.0mm) thickness. All of our picks a professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched. This pick comes with a universal rounded bevel.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Great pick similar in size to the TD40. The Jazz40 LG is a great pick for a fast focused attack.

Love it! Bought one for a friend but couldn't help not getting one myself.

Great tone and feel from this pick. Like many others, I wasn't sure if it would be worth the price, but it definitely is. Seems to last forever, and the cost is the same as I would spend on wearing out a multitude of picks over a period of a few years.

I'm the guy that never leaves a review, but reads all of the reviews others have left before he purchases anything. I'm the guy that spends hours tweaking knobs on amplifiers and pedals, and plays the same note or chord over and over again with different picks of various material and thickness. I love searching for great tones. And my favorite tone comes from this blue chip large jazz 40 pick, which roughly translates to 1 mm. I like other picks and tones but, this particular pick, and its' shape and size and whatever material it's made from, makes me happy to hold it and use it. It sticks right to your fingers, which I love because I have sweaty hands and drop picks all the time ( Plus I'm OCD and constantly fidget and move the pick around between my fingers to find the perfect grip, and the BC picks eliminate that for me.). It has a great deal of dynamic touch and clear and sensitive response, including all of the harmonics and everywhere in between the lightest touch to digging in hard at the strings. I love these picks. I am willing to actually pay for the tone and pleasure it brings me... Well, pay for a couple at least. I'm not made of money. I keep a lot of other picks around, and the only thing that comes close to the tone and feel of this is the Dunlop Primetone Jazz III pick which only comes in 3 thicknesses. The .88 mm Primetone pick is about the same (thickness and shape wise, and in some respects tone also), as the Blue Chip large jazz 35... And the BC Jazz LG 35 is my second favorite pick. I should clarify that I almost exclusively use the Blue Chip picks with electric guitars. I need a more flexible pick for acoustic guitars, but I really wish it was possible for blue chip to make something in the .73 mm range. For now I use a Dava control pick, a Herco gold Flex 50 or a Primetone Jazz III XL .73 mm. Also, I own a lot of other picks from high-end & Boutique manufacturers like Red Bear and V-picks, and everywhere in between including bone, horn, felt and every other material that can be shaped into a guitar plectrum like shape. So I'm comparing this to pretty much everything. And it's still my favorite.

I purchased the Andy Wood Version of the Jazz35 LG, Jazz40 LG, Jazz50 LG, Jazz60 LG. I am completely happy with these purchases. The picks are articulate, precise, and smooth. I use the different gauge picks with different guitars and string gauge tensions. I love that the (Andy Wood) version of the picks is sized right between the regular and large size jazz pick and comes with gripping holes. I highly recommend these picks.

This pick is awesome - never thought I would spend this much on a pick and I am scared to death of losing it, but the grip, feel on the strings and tone are worth it. I wish Bluechip would come out with an insurance policy against loss!
If you love to get great sound, pinch harmonics and great feel on the strings, spend the forty bucks.

I was a little reluctant to purchase an 'expert's' pick like Blue Chip. I should not have been. It makes the places where I am adequate sound better. It helps me pinpoint where I am deficient. It brings out the best in my instrument.

Smooth and stabilizing. I live in fear of losing it!
