The Jazz pick is very similar in size and shape to the Dunlop Jazz 3. This is the Jazz in 40/1000 of an inch thickness.(1.0mm) All BlueChip Picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched. This pick has a universal rounded bevel.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. 5 Perfect.
Posted by Frank Webster on 13th Jun 2026
Its easily my go to pick. The string attack is so slight when you want it and you can really dig in as well. Sometimes I will switch to a graphite or tortex pick if I want the noisier attack. All in all, its really a perfect pick.

5 Perfect!!
Posted by Bo White on 12th Jun 2026
I didn't really think it could be this great! I like the way it sticks to the skin without a wet or adhesive feeling but then glides off the strings just so perfectly. I honestly do somehow feel closer to the guitar. Can't explain; it must be experienced. The juice was worth the squeeze. Thank you!!

5 As good as they say

I was very skeptical about Blue Chip's picks until I bought one. Now it's all I use. Simple as that.

5 A step up from Jazz iii

Which bluechip to get depends on what you like about the jazz iii. If it's thickness, go BC Jazz 50. If it's flexibility, go BC Jazz 40.

I play acoustic and electric guitar and love Blue Chip picks. Great tone and grip. Just don’t leave them in your pocket!

5 Truly unbelievable
Posted by Tyler B on 13th Dec 2024
It’s hard for me to describe exactly what it’s like playing this pick. The smooth way it slides over the strings gives me accuracy and speed that a just don’t have with any other pick. To be clear, I would say that this pick is for advanced players, for whom getting a 5% advantage really makes a noticeable difference. For me, this size small jazz pick is the sweet spot for the Blue Chip advantage. I have a large blue chip pick as well and it’s a great pick and all, but I could take it or leave it. I couldn’t believe a $40 pick would be worth it, but here I am, buying my fourth!!!

4 DIfferent....but expensive
Posted by lance.holland@gmail.com on 17th Sep 2024
This is actually my second Blue Chip Pick. That one got lost after a few days and I hadn't thought much about it. Recently, I got another one. I started with a Jazz 40 but it felt too unsubstantial in my fingers. I traded that in for a Jazz 60 which feels about right. Yes, as others say, it does glide over the strings and I like the tone. It's just a lot of money for something I have a bad track record of holding onto. Hopefully, this one sticks around more than a few weeks. I probably won't use it on gigs and reserve it for home where it's less likely to disappear. Only rating 4 stars because I'd feel right about this costing in the $20 range rather than $35+
