Product Overview
The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 60/1000 of an inch thickness(1.5mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

5 My favorite - good size and thickness
Posted by Mark Young on 21st Dec 2015
This is my go-to pick. Have used one for months. Didn't really appreciate the sound difference until I went back and tried a different pick I had used before. There's a noticeable sound difference. Also the feel in my fingers, and on the strings is the best I've found.

5 Great tone with pop
Posted by David Brack on 17th Sep 2015
I have tried several BC picks now trying to get the sound I wanted. I have found the one. The TPR 45 was to warm for me and not enough volume. The TAD 40 plenty of volume but to bright or thin. The TP 60 for me has pop I was looking for off the string while still maintaining some volume and warmth off my mandolin.

5 Best Pick I Ever Handled
Posted by PJ on 12th Feb 2015
Hands down the best feeling and sounding pick I've ever used. Now I know why someone would pay $35 for a pick. I thought it was crazy too... until I had a friend lend me his BlueChip. No string "hitting noise", Glides across the stings like butter. Every time I use a pick that is NOT a BlueChip, I am constantly irritated by how the inferior pick feels and plays. I'm hooked.

5 This pick has changed the way I play guitar
Posted by Paul on 15th Aug 2014
I have been a fan of BlueChip picks for some time. I started with the TD40, and then decided I'd try a thicker pick. I went with the TPR50, and then finally settled on the TP60. I have several of them, and they are just perfect for flat picking. I used to do a lot of finger picking with finger picks, but I find that I can do a lot of cross-picking, and can do it pretty cleanly, with the TP60. I'm still a big fan of BlueChip picks.

5 tp 60 is too thick for me but 40 is just right
Posted by Jerome Solinger on 24th Jul 2014
Had a little trouble with my order, but man oh man, did they ever go out of their way to make things right. Customer service is second to none. Such a pleasure to do business with people who care about the customer. Oh, and the stp40 that was sent to replace the tp60 that I found too big and too thick, really makes my D18 sing. Money well spent!

4 Excellent product
Posted by Mitch Simon on 16th May 2014
My favorite all time material for acoustic guitar picks is real tortoiseshell. Due to the environmental repercussions of real tortoise making it all but non-existent, it is hard to find a suitable replacement for that tone. This Blue Chip is the second one I have owned, and I must say, that it is a worthy substitute. It shares that glassy attack of tortoiseshell, albeit, with a little less note bloom afterward, but more than adequate. It more than makes up for for it's small tonal shortcomings in two ways it's refusal to wear down, and is a good material to hold on to in the heat of battle. They have found a winner with this product!

5 My New Go to Pick
Posted by John Ledermann on 15th Apr 2014
Stiffer feel than the TP 50, which is why I stepped up. Because of its quicksilver feel, a little extra thickness does not slow down my picking one bit. I plan on trying a TP 80 next. This pick has transcendent tone with my Strat through a Deluxe Reverb reissue. My harmonics jump off the strings. I had been using Red Bears, and prior to that, Wegens. Those guys are practically inaccessible! Mathew and Allen are right there for you! You get your picks in 3 days! I had to wait 3 months to get Red Bears once! Love these guys!

5 Fine pick

It is expensive but it's a fine pick. I even prefer it more than the tortoise pick I recently bought. It plays fast. After a week playing the sound is good. It produce a pointy but warm tone.

5 Great Material
Posted by Lem Johnson on 22nd Jul 2013
I am no longer a young picker, but an older picker. My biggest problems with picks is that my hands are much dryer now and most picks slide out of my fingers. This Bluechip material just clings to my fingers so well. Helps me play so much better with more confidence.
