TP60

Love the size, feel and tone of this pick.

I’m sold - can’t go back to my PRO Plec ever again. You can feel the difference, they have a wonderful soft feel with great articulation and speed. Just a fantastic combination for delicate, complex single note electric guitar improvisation.

This is my second tp60 and I must say, it is hands down the best sounding and feeling pick I've ever come across. People are often surprised a pick could cost this much, but when they try it there is no compare. And they last for years, making it a worthwhile investment so long as you don't lose it. The sound is absolutely perfect and the string feel genuinely will make you a better, cleaner, smoother and faster player.

Like many other guitar players I like to chase the elusive beautiful tone that is within my wonderful acoustic guitars. Picks, strings and fingers are what bring the tone out. The combination can be endless so I've tried lots. The blue chip pick is like an excellent bow for an excellent violin. It gives power and clarity ad well as subtle shades. The question now is what happens to the 100 other picks I own?

I'm a serious jazzz guitarist playing since the 1980s and I've tried many picks. Blue Chip picks somehow combine extreme rigidity with almost zero string noise. If you haven't tried them yet, give them a shot! Worth the money!

I could put my review on the shelf with thousands of others about Blue Chip Picks and it would get lost in the rave reviews. However there is one thing I guess I'd like to see as an option - I'd have started adding engraving not so much to identify my pick and to add a bit of security, but more as something to add a slight rough spot to help with keeping it in place while playing. The super smooth texture can make me lose the exact position of the pick and I think putting a little texture on it would help - not a deep, course pattern, but a mile grid pattern on the picks would help me keep the pick in place and allow me to rotate it exactly how much I need, when I need, and keep it from slipping when things get sweaty.

I've been playing with a TP 50 and TP 60. Both are great picks. For those enthusiast that seek mellow more woody tones, TP 60 is the perfect pick. I also find the TP 60 helps reduce string buzz, (when you pick a higher string unitensionallly aggressively). A TP55 (i think it's the CT55 on the website) would probably be my perfect pick. I liked the pick so much I got another one, and a case for them, so hopefully I don't lose them, and like any product I ever like, i tell people, and I know of at least two who have also purchased a Blue Chip, but one of them is a scientist so he may be just taking it apart to see how its made.
