Product Overview

The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 60/1000 of an inch thickness(1.5mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.

Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

    Nice pick. Not my favorite.

Posted by Unknown on 5th Feb 2024

This is an excellent pick. Extremely easy to play. Very smooth. Therein lies the problem for me. I actually miss hearing the noise of the pick against the strings. I had the same problem years ago with the Dunlop John Petrucci pick. I love the character of a pick scraping against the strings. My current favorite is the Dimension Jr. by V-Picks. Thank you for an excellent pick. It will join the others in my pick tin for alternate sounds.

The best picks for left handed guitarists!

Many companies that make beveled picks offer only a right handed bevel. Not only does Blue Chip make the highest quality picks, they make a left handed bevel option for players like myself. Great customer service!

The blue chip pick is the absolute best you can buy. I’ve been using them for years and haven’t worn any out yet. The Blue Chip company is very well run too with very timely shipping and has never sent the wrong product. Great product and great company

    BlueChip picks are the best.

I usually use CT 55 picks but thought I’d try something a little different. The TP 60 is a different shape, with pointed edges. It also feels thicker. The result is a brighter sound. I am still learning how to use the TP 60.

    Great grip, feel, & tone

I'm a huge fan of BlueChip picks. They have incredible grip & stay put in your hand. They feel great. They are extremely durable. I've been using the same pick for months playing 4-6 hours per/day & is still feels & sounds great. I love the tone of these picks as well. I will use these picks life. I highly recommend BlueChip picks.

The TP is now the pick I compare all others to. 2 weeks after buying one I ordered another to make sure I’m never without one.

A great smaller alternative to the TAD series.

It’s all here. The right amount of grip and the buttery attack. I find that the smaller size lends itself more to electric playing for me personally. It inspires a different grip position in my (Micha larger than average) hand.

    It's the tone, man.

No string noise as the pick moves across the stroke, and a surface that has enough grip not to slip in your fingers. What more can you ask for? Well, okay: gold mine in the back yard so I can afford to have a couple Blue Chip TP60's in every one of my guitar cases. Oh, and a bluetooth homing device on every Blue Chip to make finding them when they drop in a dark honky-tonk bar easier. You know how it is. You look for your Blue Chip until you find it.
