The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 40/1000 of an inch thickness(1.0mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

The sound of Blue Chip Picks and the feel of the TP series is, to me, unrivaled. I own a TP 40, 50 and 60 - each one highlights a different color in the tonal spectrum, and I use them as needed on all of my guitars and mandolins. Appreciated is the triangular shape that gives me three points for the price of one - this pick will be someday be handed down to my great-grandson in fine working condition.
Easy to hold and sublime to feel and listen to - sitting pretty with my TP Blue Chip picks.

I tried this one on plectrum and tenor banjo. People usually prefer standard shape nylon medium pick ... BUT this model has the good thickness and the good shape to bring some edge without sounding harsh, and with the bevel tremolos are smooth . If you already appreciate BlueChip Picks on guitar and mandolin, don't hesitate to try on banjo a sharp triangle 40 pick with optional bevel like TP or TAD.

I love this pick. Its just the right stiffness for bluegrass leads, its quick, and comfortable to hold. Can be a little bit slippery, but best of the 30 picks I've tested in the past month.

I have tried 4 other Bluechip picks trying to get one just right. I think this is it. I added a Chris Thile bevel to it to bring it into perfection. Thanks.

I used the pick for a gig last night and was very pleased for the following reasons.
-was able to hold it while playing w/o slipping
-I like the action on the strings-- like turtle
-Good size-- I play mandolin and guitar.
I am very fussy about my picks-
I bought w/o trying so I was taking a chance for such an expensive item.
Would have preferred to try some first but I would buy another.
Change the color to bright red or Orange so we can see it if it is dropped.

This is my favorite Bluechip pick that I have tried. I also have a TP 50 that is a little too stiff for most of my playing. I also have a Tortoise pick that I love but the sound from this one is just as nice. Beautiful tone and great for Bluegrass picking. This is the best pick I have played with.
