5 A great pick that lasts for ever
Posted by Peter on 22nd Mar 2023
The Large Jazz 50 is a wonderful pick. Smooth action, deep tone and great if you want a rich tone from medium-light strings. It is well worth the investment. I’ll be back for more - though these are picks for life.

5 Same condition several years later
Posted by Micah on 10th Feb 2022
A friend of mine gave me one of these picks a few years ago, and I have used it on my acoustics pretty regularly since. The pick is in the exact same condition today as when it was gifted to me. So, I bought a few more, and the condition of my used pick is identical to the new ones. These have a sharp point, which makes them good for picking accurately, and they sound good strumming too. Highly recommend.

5 Fantastic Acoustic and General Rhythm Pick
Posted by PJT on 20th Feb 2021
I initially bought this pick for lead playing, but I found it slightly too large for my liking. I ended up buying the Jazz 80, which is the perfect lead pick. I've found the Jazz LG 50 to be absolutely perfect for playing acoustic guitar and also general rhythm/strumming playing on all guitars. It picks smoothly and deliberately, but gives just enough to feel great. It also shows no signs of wear despite a fair amount of use. I expect it to last a very long time.

5 Oh so nice

Discovered BC picks via Justin Guitars as well as Tony's Acoustic Challenge on YouTube. Both promote this pick as top of the line. I went with Justin's specific pick choice b/c there are a myriad of options (overwhelming to a novice like myself). Immediately felt and heard the difference with the BC pick. Clean sound unlike cheap picks where the attack sounds plastic and distracting. I applied Picker's Grip to my new pick and really enjoying it.

Amazing precision-like cooking with a sharp knife. A smidge bigger than I was expecting, but I grew accustomed to it very quickly.

5 You get what you pay for

I did the LG 50 with Andy Wood mods - read about it in reviews, and it sounded great. Just a smidge bigger than my BC Jazz (Jazz III sized), and just a smidge smaller than the LG 50. I split my time between mando and guitar, and the size and thickness sounded ideal. I know BC picks well, and the LG 50 with the Wood mods is no different than what I've experienced over the years - beautifully made, seemingly indestructible, and fantastic tone. These picks are that good. An absolutely superior product. For those that balk at the price, have you looked at the price of a good violin bow recently?? I am always surprised when I meet plucked and strung players who are not at least mildly obsessed with their picks. It is a primary contact point between player and instrument. Simply "anything" will not do. Blue Chip makes a fantastic product. They are that good. It's that simple.

5 Excellent Picks
Posted by Mr John Blessing on 31st Jul 2018
I had been talking to a few seasoned Guitar players about picks and they happened to mention Bluepicks. I decided to give the Jazz50 LG a go as I used the Dunlop Jazz III XLs which I loved. The players I spoke with told they were expensive but worth every penny. I have been using the Bluepicks ever since and love them. They have a bright sounding tone to them and I love the shape and feel. I will be buying more of these picks. So it looks like everyone I talked with was spot on about Bluepicks. John B (Ireland)
