  1. Best tone, most secure fit 5 Star Review

This is the most secure fit on your thumb and even if the
business end wears a bit there's no loss of tone. Costs more
    but worth it.

  2. A True Custom Shop 5 Star Review

Many years ago I suffered a broken neck. After surgery and rhah I have made a full recovery.....Except , since the accident I have not been able to hold a pick....So for many years i have used thumb picks and developed a style where my thumb picks notes as well as carry rhythm and strum.
About 5 years ago I asked the folks at Bluechip to make me a custom TD35 fastened to a large stainless thumb ring.......My whole Guitar playing evolved......some people think I'm damn good........But really it's the Bluechip thumb pick.

  3. Really solid and great tone! 5 Star Review

These have the best grip and fit of any thumb picks I've ever used! They don't budge and the shape of the band around your finger is very comfortable. Like all BlueChip picks, the grip is fantastic. The tone is also very crisp and the low notes can really pop out nicely. The fit is slightly smaller than the regular Dunlop mediums. So if those are tight on your thumb, maybe consider a large. Very happy with this pick!

  4. If it works for Chris Pandolfi. it will woek for me. 5 Star Review

Straight up a huge Chris Pandolfi fan boy. He posted to his Instagram that he uses this pick. I bought it. It is light, firm on my finger, and has great tone (Spoiler Alert: It won’t make you as good as Chris Pandolfi, sadly).

This is my second J D Crow Thumb Pick for a second banjo and case. This Thumb Pick stays in place all night long.

  7. It's a great sounding Pick. 4 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Apr 2019

This is a great sounding pick. Feels good except for I have to jam it on tighter than I was expecting so it doesn't spin, so it cuts off some circulation like most thumbpicks.
I like the fact that the band it doesn't hook accidently on any of the strings. I highly recommend it, I am glad I purchased it.

  8. Excellent 5 Star Review

I've been looking for a new thumb pick to replace the National I've been using for a while..my problem with this and previous thumb picks is that it would not stay in place and sometimes the bottom would catch on a string.
This new pick from Blue Chip fits comfortably, doesn't move and has nothing to catch onto the strings. Additionally, the length of the pick matches what I had on the National so I didn't have to adapt to a new pick. This is in distinction to metal picks I got from Deering, which were much shorter.
The Blue Chip are pricier, but I think well worth the extra money
It may be just mental, but I think my playing has improved with these new picks

  9. Best Thumbpick Available 5 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Feb 2019

Lightweight, strong, long lasting, and clear awesome sound. No slipping on thumb or pick noise most picks have from scrubbing the strings...I have used one of these exclusively for 12 years and it still works, just got the extra to keep in a different case... highly recommend from an experienced 27 year picker.

  10. Mostly satisfied 4 Star Review

I enjoy the picks and think they are great. The issue I had was with the website and placing my order for the CT 55 picks. I wanted to have them personalized for gifts. I was sure that one of the picks was to have Kerry on it and the other Breezer. When they arrived, they both had Kerry Breezer on them which is not what I wanted. When I called customer service, I was assured it was my mistake. I guess I have to write it down as an expensive mistake.
