  1. My new favorite thumb pick 5 Star Review

When my cat decided to play hide and seek (still lost) with my favorite BlueChip flatpick I decided to try one of their thumb picks too. My musical style utilizes a lot of thumb and two finger playing on guitars from a grand concert Taylor to a jumbo Guild and anything in between, these thumb picks open up the bottom end of my guitars like nothing I've ever heard before. I've been using the same Fred Kelly Speedpick for about 15 years so trying something new was a bit of an adventure, once I got the BCT-1S situated on my thumb I was hooked. They deliver a big, smooth, warm sound that I absolutely love. They even work great on a grand symphony 12-string Taylor. I may let the cat play with my Fred Kelly picks.

  2. Excellent pick 4 Star Review

This is the second time I've ordered picks. Again, I'm very impressed with the quality and workmanship.

However, being a woman, I still find the small thumb pick to be a little too large. It doesn't stay snug on my thumb. Squeezing it smaller doesn't work because it destroys the quality and shape of the pick. Is it possible to make a slightly smaller pick for us women who have thumbs larger than children, but smaller than men?

  3. durable and good fit 5 Star Review

I recently purchased this thumb pick, and I am very pleased with it. I had purchased a similar one a couple of years ago, the JD version, but even the small size was a bit too large for me. I have very small hands! A friend of mine modified it for me, and I put some adhesive tape inside to make it snug, but I was wishing it was smaller. The one I just purchased is almost just right, seems to be smaller than the JD pick, so I am very happy about that. I am still using a bit of adhesive on the inside of it, but did not have to modify it otherwise. I love these picks because of the great sound they produce and also the durability of them. The one I have been using for at least a couple of years still shows no wear, and I will continue to use it as an extra. Thanks for your great product!

  4. Best thumb pick ever 5 Star Review

The pick on most thumb picks are generally too thick and too large, almost always requiring some muting of the bass. The BCT-1 is just the right size for guitar; no muting is necessary unless you want it. As the pick is small, it produces just the right balanced tone, which is perfect as the only reason to use a thumb pick is to get more volume out of a guitar. It's worth every cent to me.
