The TP-1R is our classic triangular pick in a 40/1000 of an inch thickness with ONE ROUNDED CORNER. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Was looking for a good pick and decided to jump in. My sone loves this pick sonInordered him an engraved one. He is also very happy with it. For me I would buy thicker next time but will certainly keep this pick as well.

I play a Bourgeois age-toned Adi/Mahog OM, and I love the tonal quality the Blue Chip 1.2mm produces. Very woody and natural sounding, and every note seems to stand out. This one is my first, and I'll buy more of these!

Smooooooth,Clear as spring water. Less friction across the strings. I had a pick just like this one for almost 2 year. I play hard and it got to the point to where I couldn't tell which corner was supposed to be round, but that's a small amount of wear for that amount of playing. The thing finally broke. I did without one for a few months. That was rough. Got my new one and man it makes a world of difference. P.S. Like the personalization. Wish I would have thought to get my phone# on it.

I love this pick however it is a little thin but works great for fast guitar playing. I also have a TP-1R in 50 which is just great. Best pick I've ever owned.

Very nice pick, glides across the strings effortlessly which is great for tremolos on the mandolin. Does not slip from the fingers either. In my opinion it has increased my picking speed as well. Best pick I've ever used, just don't loose it.

I love this pick! It has a slightly different sound than my tortoise pick, but just as fine--if anything, this one may have a bit less pick noise on the lower strings (as in none). Both are too new to compare wear. It's well worth the price--and the extra care to be sure I don't lose it.

Believe it or not this pick was recommende by another quality pick makerbecause his pick was not holding up! it compares favorably to my tortoise shell.

Since I first tried a Blue Chip pick, they've been my "go to" pick. The tone they produce is comparable to tortoise shell and superior to all of the plastic picks that I've tried. They are consistent in gauge, easy to hold (non-slip), extremely durable, and just "glide" over the strings. I use the 40's on light gauge strings and 50's on medium gauge strings. I like the versatility of having one rounded corner so I buy the TP-1R versions. Blue chips are the best I've found so far so I've got one in each of my guitar cases.

I have been playing a Blue Chip pick now for several years. I bought my second one last week...not because I needed to replace my original Blue Chip, which has absolutely no wear on it, but because I play a couple of different guitars and wanted a Blue Chip with each one! Absolutely the best picks I have ever used!

I have been looking for a pick that allowed me to go from my guitar to a mandolin in a jam and this one delivers. This pick has very warm but clear sound and it slides off the strings like no other pick I have played.
