Product Description
The TP-1R is our classic triangular pick in a 40/1000 of an inch thickness with ONE ROUNDED CORNER. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Helluva Pick

My first impression using the pick was that I did not like it. When I was looking at these picks I tried to find a Blue Chip that was similar to what I have used for a while now, a Dunlop Tortex Flow, .88. This one seemed a bit, but not much bigger. Several days after my first attempt I decided to give to another go, and have not put it down since. I can definitely hear and feel the difference with this pick, and love it!

Never thought I would pay this much for a pick, but when something so small makes such a big difference it’s totally worth it. I pay thousands for guitars, amps, pedals, etc, but the little things like a pick and new strings make all the difference. The main reason I love it is it makes playing easier. I also find the pick to be a little “sticky”, ie a lot less likely to drop it.

I was a little skeptical when I heard about a $40 pick but several artists and friends swore by them. Once I played one I knew what all the hype was about. I love it on acoustic and electric.

These things are super durable, the thickness - rigidity is excellent, they really don't wear out, the sound is second to none, and the different bevels each have their own sound profile. What an amazing product!

Definitely a Difference

I was skeptical that changing picks would make much difference but I was wrong. The Blue Chip is louder and clearer, The rounded side gives a very different feel and sound from the pointed side, so it's like having two picks in one.

Always loved blue chip picks. Trying out the TP1R-40 for the first time. Same great tone and a bit different feel than my normal TD-40s. Getting used to the larger size - I think I like it as much as the TD-40. Got the free engraving and it looks great.
