Product Overview
This is the TAD-3R pick in 40/1000th of an inch(1.0mm) thickness. It is identical to the TAD, but HAS THREE ROUNDED CORNERS. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

5 Smooth Pick, Great Feel

I am a total amateur to flatpicking, but this pick certainly stands above the rest with how it feels in your hand and it’s response on the strings. It’s seems easier to hold with its wider profile, all while having a smoother surface than other picks. The beveled edges do add to the playability of the pick. I keep this pick close at hand, so when I want to pick up my guitar and suck, I can really do it with style! It’s my new favorite pick by a wide margin.

Ok I can’t quite explain it. But, I’m going to try. The last thing I am is a pick snob, but I love these pics. They seem to effortlessly slide across the strings, and supply feel to my playing that other pics don’t. Are they expensive… yes. Are they worth it … oh yes

I have played blue chips for a long time. I play mandolin and the speed bevel on my tad 40-3r plays very smooth. I also have the tpr45. I have to have at least two in my case at all times. If you don’t have one, get one, you will be glad you did.
