  1. It is a good pick 5 Star Review

It does make my guitar sound better, but I still think they’re overpriced

  2. Best Pick 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Jul 2022

I’ve tried many kinds of picks and blue chip is the only pick
I’ve used for the last 6 years. They stay put in you fingers well, just dampen you fingers and your ready to pick. You can’t wear them out. 5 stars.

  3. No "Click" 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Jul 2022

I play electric guitar, mostly classic rock and I use many different picks for different applications. When I want a noiseless strike and deep tone and/or whenever I'm using a fuzz box, The TAD 3R is the pick I use. There is almost no "Click" when I hit the strings, allowing for a smoother sound and playing experience. A must-have for recording. Don't know how they do it and don't care. Overpriced? Probably. But if you want the best then sometimes you gotta loosen the purse strings a little.

  4. Worth it 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Jul 2022

I am not an advanced guitar player by any means, but after upgrading my guitar I have wanted to improve my flatpicking. I was having a hard time finding a pick that was comfortable, easy to use, and sounded good. I was weary about ordering a $35 guitar pick, but after going through a handful of less expensive options I thought I'd give it a try. I was not disappointed at all. It was immediately very comfortable to use, doesn't slip or move around in your hand, is very fast off the strings, and doesn't give off those plasticy clicks that some picks can have. Looking forward to trying out some other shapes, but I don't see myself buying any other brands.

  5. Tried’em all…Bluechip is my pick! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 29th Jun 2022

Finding the the pick that meets your needs can be a daunting task. There are so many shapes, sizes and materials on the market. For many years I played inexpensive, light gauge picks of various materials but I was never really happy with the tone I was getting out of any of my acoustic guitars or the feel of the pick. After much reading and research, I finally decided to invest in a TAD-3R-40. I’ll admit, the gauge was heavy compared to anything I’d ever used, but after a little while I got used to it. And now…they’re ain’t no going back. It you are thinking about trying Bluechips, don’t even hesitate.

Really pleased with the sound of thie TADR 40 pick. It produces a great, clean sound, and it feels great in the hand, too. I recommend it highly.

  7. sooo. . . yes, worth it 5 Star Review

Posted by on 31st Jan 2022

I thought there's no way a pick could be so different to be so much more expensive but figured why not give it a try. It almost immediately became my go-to pick and I might as well just toss all the other picks. Because why keep them if this is the only pick you wind up using? Not much else to say. . . . if you're a minimalist, you only need this pick. One and done.

I'm now a believer. Silky string interaction but secure in the hand. The tone is REALLY sweet. Highly recommended.

  10. I love these picks 5 Star Review

Most comfortable pick I've ever used (in 55 years of playing). Not to mention the long life. Both the TAD40-3R and TAD50-3R.
