This is the TAD-3R pick in 40/1000th of an inch(1.0mm) thickness. It is identical to the TAD, but HAS THREE ROUNDED CORNERS. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Beveling and material make this pick amazingly smooth. This pick will last a lifetime. Great product!

I have played blue chips for a long time. I play mandolin and the speed bevel on my tad 40-3r plays very smooth. I also have the tpr45. I have to have at least two in my case at all times. If you don’t have one, get one, you will be glad you did.

This is a great flatpick, the one I've been looking for--well, for decades. I appreciate the great sound and the feel in the hand. Excellent pick!

Even though they didn't advertise TAD35-3R they made them for me anyway.

I've purchased a few TAD's and have now have them available in both places where I play/practice. I don't want to be without one! I love the feel, how easy they are to hold on to and the tone that they bring. I'm new to flatpicking and these picks have helped with my transition.

I have had a number of Bluechip picks for some time now. I've settled on somewhat heavier models, such as the TAD 50, for my electric guitars and now find that I prefer this TAD 40 for acoustic, Its thin body offers a bit more snap, while the round corners sever to maintain a pleasant warmth. Great pics.

It does make my guitar sound better, but I still think they’re overpriced

I’ve tried many kinds of picks and blue chip is the only pick
I’ve used for the last 6 years. They stay put in you fingers well, just dampen you fingers and your ready to pick. You can’t wear them out. 5 stars.
