    Another awesome pick

Posted by Catherine Johnson on 8th Jan 2024

This is another awesome pick to add with my other BlueChip picks. Love the size and feel and mostly how my strings sound when strummed. Have given these picks as gifts and at first, friends thought it was just another pick until they played. Will definitely order again.

    Illustrious plectrum

Such a good pick. I have a few of my own and enjoy giving them as special presents to special friends. I may put a recovery “chip” on my Bluechips. I was given my first one by a friend as a reward. One of his Bluechips had fallen through the crack in his deck planking onto a lush bed of dead leaves. Took about an hour, but, I found it. Bluechips brown may be the perfect camouflage in that particular situation. I’d also like to thank you for the way you stand behind your product. I once had a pick break. I sent a picture and it was promptly replaced.

    Smooth Pick

best picks I own (and I have quite an extensive collection, guess I'm not alone in this habit) Nice tone and plays very smoothly especially on my tremolos on my Mandolin and Octave mandolin. Never leave home without it.

    TAD-3R 40

Posted by Gary Ferguson on 30th Dec 2023

I like the pick. A little light. I have a 60 and a 40. I should have ordered a 45. Blue Chip are still the best I've used. Bring out best volume and tone of any other pick I have used.

These are the best picks I know of

In my sixty years of playing string instruments these are the best picks I have ever used...The tone is perfect and they really last a long time.

    New Favorite

Posted by John Lindblade on 26th Dec 2023

The 40 thickness gives my guitars the right balance between bright and warm bass/mid. The rounded points tame down excessive brightness and makes it easier for me to get off the strings. I’ve had this size pick before but the latest one found it’s way out of my pik pak

    Claire Lynch Loves Bluechip Picks

Posted by Ian Gray on 26th Dec 2023

Bluechip Picks are the standard in the world of Bluegrass. Most of Claire's band members have used them, as has she. They are now our go-to on any of our Bluegrass picking session. We own over 100 stringed instruments (I've been collecting since 1964) and Bluechip Picks work really well on many of our acoustic instruments. I also prefer Bluechip thumb picks when playing finger style. I periodically gift friends with them as well as their preference of flat picks, of which I keep an assortment.

    The best

For me personally it’s the best pick in terms of tone, gripiness, size and shape. It checks all those boxes. A bit pricey but worth it.
