The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 50/1000 of an inch thickness(1.25mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

You will NOT need to try 1 million picks to find one you will be pleased with...
The TP50 is " the one and only"... Just amazing to play with....
Expensive ? Yes, but you just need one ! And It will be your best friend for many years.....

good gear!

I bought the TP50 and very pleased. But I'm a novice bluegrass guitarist who was looking for a durable 2mm range pick so I bought the TD80 . The bevel, shape, thickness and hardness are all perfect. I would give it 5+ Stars if the grip was a bit rougher, but still there are none comparable to Blue Chip.

Great sound. Perfect size.

Honestly, I wouldn't spend this kind of money on a pick if it weren't one of the best I've ever used.
We all have different taste in tone and feel, but if you like your guitar to sound warm and brilliant at the same time, and prefer a pick that won't go flying out of your hand at the first drop of sweat, a Blue Chip will undoubtedly satisfy you.
Volume. Smoothness through the strings. Slowest-wearing pick I've had the pleasure to play. Blue Chips are worth every cent.

On a tour through the States, a Guitarpreneur suggested me to try the Bluechip Picks that might help to enhance my clarity and speed in Flatpicking. With 27 years of practice, i had a lot of picks in my hand, good and worse, but since now i did not really found my favourite one.
So back to my Acousticshop in Munich, i discussed this theme with some other pickers and they advanced the view that the BlueChip Pick is not worth that kind of money since it also just a piece of plastic although they never had one in their hand. Tortoiseshell is very high priced and not easy to get over here.
So i gave it a try and ordered two recommended TP50's and a set of Fingerpicks for my 5-String.
So here's my opinion: I think that i finally found the picks i was searching for. They slide over the strings flawless like ice with a impressive clarity and doesn't limit my hand and speed in picking. They're were worth the price like a good pair of shoes although i had to pay a lot for import taxes.
Mr. Goins, i am taking my hat off!
Will see what the other pickers say if they strum "my" pick over their instruments. I bet they'll change their opinion and you will have some new customers. Maybe you can do sth like mix and match or offer a set? But anyway i'll be back soon! Thanks.

I am one who does not write reviews but I truly believe in this product.I have used many picks over the last three years, only to find out that picks are very different. I can honestly say that this Tp-50 pick is by far my favorite. My Martin or my Taylor have never sounded so good. The notes ring very clear and the pick is easy to control. I also received a free pick pouch with free shipping.Merry Christmas to me! THANKS BLUECHIP!

Love the TP50 pick. After I bought the first, I bought a back up. I now have bought two more and keep one in each case. I use it on both acoustic and electric guitars, and my mandolin.
It is hard to tell someone I paid the $35.00 for a pick, but I get a better sound and the pick is smoother and faster on the strings. I am not a professional player, but I can hear the difference.

I'm so glad I discovered the Blue Chip picks. Ive tried just about every pick I could get my hands on to find the one that feels and sounded the best. This thing does both in that it sticks to your fingers and doesn't slip, plus it brings out the best tone of your guitar. I love these picks.
