This is the TAD pick in 50/1000 of an inch(1.25mm) thickness. It is shaped identically to the TP, but is slightly larger. All BlueChip Picks are professionally machined, laser engraved, and hand beveled.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I bought th TAD50 with a round bevel. Really great pick.

I have had the TAD 50 for a few weeks now. I do like the larger size of the pick, the beveled edges and the smooth action on the strings.
However, It is very loud and has a distinct metallic sound which I am just not used to yet. I will try it for a while longer and see if my feelings about the sound changes?

Been a guitar picker for over 50 years, and have played mandolin for over 15. Read numerous reviews before spending the money to satisfy my curiosity about Blue Chip Picks, wanting to see what exactly justified the cost.
Having numerous picks, for different tonal and effect quality, I’ve always just switched off depending on the music. But, since the very first, I’ve found that this pick covers ‘all the bases’, and it is my go to and pretty much ‘stay with’ pick. I can ‘soft tone’, chirp, hammer, or get whatever tone I want by positioning the pick, and I use it almost exclusively no matter what music genre I’m playing.
I’m sold!!! I will never be without a Blue Chip again. Worth every dollar, and more for the serious player. Thanks Blue Chip; you did it right!!

Don't know what else I can say that already hasn't been said by others. If your on the fence, jump off and order one. Bluechip picks are the best I have ever used.

I love the way this pick brings out the low woody sound in my Martin! The shape and size are perfect! I will only use Blue Chip picks now! They even make a cheap guitar sound good! If you want to get the most out of whatever instrument you have I highly recommend this pick! I also use Blue Chip picks with my mandolin!

Beautiful tone, durable with little or no wear after years of use. I alternate between several versions, but they are all great. Terrific service and quick delivery. Worth every penny!

It's all good....just don't lose it! Brighter colors might help ~

It's been great having a TAD50 and a TAD40 as an alternative to some thicker-gauge BC picks that I have - especially for OMs, tenor guitar and mandocello, where a lighter extra brightness can suit some of my instruments. A continuing inspiration!

The feel, weight and responsiveness of the the TAD50 was just what I was looking for. The service was very responsive. What more could a guitar player ask for, except maybe for a little more talent?
