Product Overview
This is the TAD pick in 50/1000 of an inch(1.25mm) thickness. It is shaped identically to the TP, but is slightly larger. All BlueChip Picks are professionally machined, laser engraved, and hand beveled.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

5 Completely Impressed!

I have been playing with tortoise shell picks for years and am down to my last one. I decided to start looking for a good alternative and I found it. The feel and tone are perfect.

5 Wonderfully neutral and easy to handle
Posted by Peter E. on 1st Nov 2023
I am a repeat buyer (mostly TPs) but I thought I'd go with the TAD because its size makes it easier to grip in my chunky fingers. I bought a TAD 40 at the same time, but I'm starting to believe the 50 hits the "sweet spot". No quibble on price - these are excellent picks, neutral in tone, and they just make me happy.

4 Ridiculous Shipping Costs
Posted by John Jodoin on 10th Oct 2023
After constantly reading & hearing all the hype regarding Blue Chip picks and during a moment of complete madness, I placed an order for one of your picks. To be honest I had low expectations that I would even notice any difference from what I was used to using. But I immediately noticed an improvement in tone and ease of use with the most satisfaction coming from the fact that the pick seems to stick to my fingers. Being elderly I now experience difficulty in keeping a pick from moving about during play. Not so with the blue chip. However, my concern is the high cost of owning a BC pick; $50 for the pick plus another $20 shipping charges to send an object weighing <10 grams to Canada. So for a Canadian citizen, this is a very costly purchase. I don't think I would make it again but only because of the expense.

5 The Leader

The TAD50 is by far the best flat pickers choice. The tone it delivers is far superior to any other pick.
