Product Description
This is the TAD pick in 50/1000 of an inch(1.25mm) thickness. It is shaped identically to the TP, but is slightly larger. All BlueChip Picks are professionally machined, laser engraved, and hand beveled.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I'm still using the same two TAD50 picks I purchased back in the summer of 2008. Yes, I endorse them now, but I'm still using those first two I bought! They have just the right tackiness and always give me a consistent sound and feel (very important!) and I no longer worry about having a spare pick to go to when the current one wears out. Matt has great customer service and will do his best to make sure you are happy with your purchase.

Expensive but worth it

I bought this pick 6 months ago, and since then it's the only pick that has touched my mandolin. The shape of the point and the degree of the bevel is perfect and lets the pick glide smoothly off the strings with very little 'clickiness'. It's not really as sticky as some of the reviews would lead you to believe, but the slight amount of tack is enough for me. After 6 months the pick has not bent or deformed at all and shows only some very faint scratches.
