The Jazz LG is a pick that is very similar in shape to our original Jazz pick. It is slightly larger than the regular jazz pick. This is a Jazz LG in a 80/1000 of an inch(2.0mm) thickness. All of our picks a professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched. This pick comes with a universal rounded bevel.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

There is no hype with this product. Everything they claim is 100% accurate...eerily. Just keep it in a pouch (they sell one), get it engraved, and don't lose it. Totally worth it and honestly necessary if you want the best possible pick on the market.

The BC Jazz 80 is my third Blue Chip pick and I'm very happy with it. Like many players, I still pull out older picks from other makers from time to time just to listen to the difference. A while back I pulled out a small heavy jazz pick I used to use a lot and was reminded of the power and accuracy inherent in a pick this size. I came back here and though I always have some trouble figuring out what the size will really be when I get it (even though Matthew goes to great pains to illustrate the sizes) but I figured the large jazz size would give me some room to do my own shaping on the pick. I wanted the point slightly less sharp.
Well my new BC Jazz LG 80 came last week and I've now played a couple of shows with it and I love it. It digs in when ever I want it to and glides lightly over the strings when I want that. It gives me more power with less effort than even my other BC picks and the tone is amazing.
I think I'll use this pick as it came for a while before I decide whether to alter the tip shape. This pick makes me think I've been buying mine too light. I have a TD 40 and a TPR 60 that I've used constantly for two or three years but this BC Jazz LG 80 may become my favorite.

When I heard about these picks, I thought, "Come on, $50 for a pick"? After trying the Jazz LG 80, I couldn't believe the difference in tone, lack of pick noise, articulation and accuracy. The grip is outstanding. Since trying mine, two of my guitar playing buddies have since bought Blue Chip Picks.
