Product Overview

Inspired by Russ Carson, this thumbpick is the same one he uses.  It is constructed using a custom designed stainless steel band and a talon shaped BlueChip pick. 
 
These picks are named BCT-BR in memory of Byron Robbins. Byron was a close personal friend of BlueChip's owner Matthew Goins and an avid banjo player who lost his battle with cancer in 2018. We are proud to be able to have this small opportunity to honor him.
 
These picks are laser etched, professionally machined, and hand beveled to create the best thumb pick available.

Size compares to a standard small thumb pick of any brand.

    I have tried countless styles and brands of thumbpicks, but in my estimation Blue Chips stand alone as the very best...expensive as far as picks go but also vastly superior in construction, design a d feel....Also, because they're pricey I never lose track of my BC picks
