Product Description

The TP-1R is our classic triangular pick in a 50/1000 of an inch thickness(1.25mm) with ONE ROUNDED CORNER.  All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.

Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

  1. Versatile, Smooth Pick TP55-1R 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Dec 2013

Well, this is actually a TP50-1R, ordered in a tad thicker 55 gauge. I love the standard round bevel and the way this pick slides off of the strings. It's fast, clean, and it allows the richness, depth, and shimmer of my Randy Lucas BRW/Adirondack Red spruce guitar to really be heard. The one rounded edge is great for when I want a fatter tone. I really like the way all my Blue Chip picks are easy to hold on to with a lose grip. For me, it is the perfect guitar pick.

  2. Great for Gypsy Jazz 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Nov 2012

I use the TP-1R50 to play Gypsy Jazz on a Gitane DG-255 model guitar. I like the rounded edge to get the "sound" that this genre requires, but the regular points can be used for bluegrass or other types of picking as well, so it's very versatile. I will always use BlueChip picks! They stay comfortably in my hand and move smoothly. No other pick I've tried has been as easy to use. A great piece of equipment!

  3. Great pick 4 Star Review

Great pick. Glides through the strings better than previous picks. I cannot tell much difference in the way it grips compared to other picks.
