Product Overview
The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 48/1000 of an inch thickness(1.22mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

5 Glad i did!
Posted by Jay on 13th Oct 2025
I was hesitant to spend the money but everyone who has purchased them had such a positive response that I decided to purchase one to try it for myself. I’m glad I did. I will be ordering a couple more.

5 I was a skeptic...
Posted by Mike on 6th Oct 2025
I admit, when I learned of these picks and heard the price, I laughed and said I'd never buy one. Well, I bought one, and then two more for fear I might lose or misplace it! Initially, I thought it would be too thick, as I've always used Fender mediums. But what a difference this pick makes! It is now the only pick I will use for acoustic guitar. The articulation of notes is so much clearer, and the pick is very comfortable to grip. It is hard to explain until you try one. I highly recommend this pick for acoustic guitar playing.

5 A great pick for pulling tone
Posted by Jamie on 29th Sep 2025
I’m new to mandolin picking, and I tried to use a more rounded pick that I’ve played guitar with for years, I find that the TP is compact and the more refined tips make it a better choice. I have found that the 48 is my magic number of thickness. Great quality, good folks running the company, I will always check back with them when I need a pick.

5 New favorite
Posted by Patrick Davis on 29th Sep 2025
I love tiriangle picks, usually Dunlop and Fenders. These picks have a great feel and sound. I play a Martin HD-28 and have used a lot of picks on it. When I wanna dig in and not use mics, these picks do it man. Playing since ‘’84 and wish ‘d try these sooner. Been digging Billy Strings lately and he plays these because he was inspired to try’’em. So was I.

5 Slightly "softer" than a TP48
Posted by Paul on 29th Sep 2025
I really like this pick, but with my guitars and how I play, I prefer the TP48. The TP40 is ever-so-slightly "mushier" on my main guitars, but sounds GREAT on a Martin Backpacker, which is where it will live. Five stars. Cannot wait to try the TP60 that I just ordered.

5 Makes me sound like I can actually play guitar
Posted by Paul on 29th Sep 2025
I had to give the TP48 a try after watching William Apostol do so many wonderful things with it. As a self-described rank amateur (my guitar instructor would disagree - he thinks I'm "mid"), this pick makes me sound like I can actually pick. My playing has improved tremendously since adopting the TP48. I enjoy it so much that I bought a second in the event this one goes missing, and am also trying the TP40 and TP60.
