Product Overview
The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 48/1000 of an inch thickness(1.22mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

1 Delivery time far too long
Posted by Brian Murray on 24th Dec 2025
I ordered my pick on 12th November, it's now Christmas eve and it still hasn't arrived. I have ordered a lot of stuff from the USA through the years, and have had plenty of correspondence with my cousins in the USA through the years , and I have never waited this long for something to arrive. The longest was four weeks, and that came with a pre delivery apology. It would be easy for the company to abdicate this responsibility to the courier company, but also entirely unfair, purely because the customer doesn't engage the courier company, the company does. It could also be an easy 'out' to blame the extra seasonal traffic on the delay, but tis isn't the only thing I've ordered from the USA and I'm well used to the rhythms of seasonal delivery. It would be harsh to say I'm disappointed that I haven't received a pick in the post, I have dozens and dozens of picks because I am a full time musician and have all the tools of the trade. I am however disappointed in the fact that Blue Chip hold themselves to the highest standards of design and innovation in modern pick design, but have failed miserably in the simplest of tasks. I'm pretty sure that the stars that endorse the product have a gold standard service to supply the picks, but the 'not so famous' and 'also rans' of the world like yours truly are only handed a shoddy service. I'll wait to read my reply, if indeed I get one, and of course wait for my purchase. Kindest of regards for the season and yours in abject disappointment, Brian Murray

5 Best pick ever
Posted by Kevin on 22nd Dec 2025
I’ve been playing guitar for 16 years and I’ve tested hundreds of picks , artisan-made, industrial, every shape and brand you can imagine. I honestly didn’t expect this. BlueChip picks are simply on another level. The quality is astonishing: they glide effortlessly on the strings, the tone is excellent, and the comfort, speed, and precision are unreal. It has completely changed my relationship with the instrument in the best possible way. A total game changer. These are, without question, the best guitar picks in the world. I play many styles (metal, jazz, bluegrass, folk…), and they work perfectly for everything. I’ll definitely be ordering more. Huge thanks to the entire BlueChip team, the craftsmanship, professionalism, and passion behind these picks truly show. If you’re still hesitating: don’t. Just go for it. You’ll understand immediately. A big thank you from France ??

5 A Cheat Code for great tone!
Posted by Jordan on 19th Dec 2025
I recently purchased this pick because I bought the Billy Strings D-28. I was hesitant at first because of the price, but man lemme tell you it’s worth every penny. You feel the quality right off the bat, the pick glides through the strings like butter and produces the most beautiful, even and amazing tone. But once cry once folks, get you one and don’t hesitate. I already bought a Kenny Smith for another Martin and deciding on my third pick in less than a month.

5 Best sized pick for all around acoustic playing
Posted by Dean Swiatek on 16th Dec 2025
So the first thing I will note here is the shape and size of this pick is perfect. It's large enough if the pick slips in your hand, you can still recover but not too big to hybrid pick with, a problem I have with the larger triangle size. Tonewise, this pick sits right inbetween my TAD-60 which has the most highs and lows and the TD-50 that has the most mids. It happens to sound the best of the three with my favorite guitar, on my others I may prefer the TAD-60 in tone, so I'm going to need to get a TP-60 as well. I would recommend this pick as a good pick to start with for anyone new to BlueChip

5 I love this pick!
Posted by Unknown on 1st Dec 2025
This pick is better than me, which is a big part of why I splurged and got one. I consider myself, at best, an intermediate player so I appreciate quality gear that helps me be the best I can be. In my not so skilled hands this pick gives better tone, less string noise and is easier to maintain grip while still holding loosely; a skill I’m struggling to master. I don’t know what kind of magic is in this thing but it’s helping me be a better player. Go get ya one!
