Product Overview
The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 48/1000 of an inch thickness(1.22mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

5 I love this pick!

This pick is better than me, which is a big part of why I splurged and got one. I consider myself, at best, an intermediate player so I appreciate quality gear that helps me be the best I can be. In my not so skilled hands this pick gives better tone, less string noise and is easier to maintain grip while still holding loosely; a skill I’m struggling to master. I don’t know what kind of magic is in this thing but it’s helping me be a better player. Go get ya one!

5 Once you go BlueChip...

you never go back! Best pick ever by far. I'm a bluegrass guitarist and lead singer of Hilltop Hounds. I never ever never show up anywhere without my TP48. Thank you!

5 tp48 old reliable

This is my first bluechip pick and it’s amazing, feels great for fast bluegrass picking and everything else, very durable and quite a firm pick with not a lot of flex. I would highly recommend, the shape is angled the same on all three side meaning you can pick it up any orientation and it will pick the same. The only problem I have is that it’s the same colour as my wood floors haha.

5 AMAZING PICK
Posted by Erik Altemose on 26th Nov 2025
First, I am not a good guitarist by any means. I've had the TP48 for about three months and I haven't lost it. I still can't play like Billy Strings, and I didn't expect to. Still, I love this pick. After a short comparison with a few of my other favorite picks, I only use the TP48. It may just be psychological, and that perfectly fine, but I've been playing more and better since I've started using the TP48. I play more electric, and I noticed my picking is more efficient. The pick is comfortable and doesn't move around unless you want it to. It glides over the string perfectly. The size is perfect and 1.22mm is the sweet spot for me. As far as the price, just think of the other crap you might spend $35 on, like coffee, chicken nuggets or hamburgers. Skip The Bucks or the Md drive thru for week and there's your new pick. If you're a guitarist, it's definitely worth the money. So, buy one, you won't be disappointed.

5 best pick I ever had
Posted by Robertson Vogelsong on 21st Nov 2025
I love it. She has just enough grab for being so smooth and is just the right shape. I want to try a TP40 and maybe even a 50. I think the TP 60 would be (for me) too thick to be honest. I’d also love to try the TAD series, but a great product comes at a cost and I’m satisfied with just the TP48 for now. Losing my last TP48 was heart breaking. The new one I got is secure as it can be, and from other reviews I’ve heard, it’ll be around for a while, so long as I keep track of it. Seriously, a great product, I’d go as far to say that it instantly leveled up my flat picking. I’m grateful.

5 Amazing!

It took me about a week to get used to the feel of this pick, its much lighter and more "slippery" than what im used to, but once my picking hand got used to it, its the only pick I want to use ever. So so good, I absolutely love it. Not hype, its real.
