The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 48/1000 of an inch thickness(1.22mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Always played with standard delrin teardrop shaped picks.
I was introduced to the TP 48 and will never look back for flatpicking. Game changer!

Very good. I've played with plenty of picks, and there are some VERY similar to the Blue Chip, but for some reason - it's better.

Absolutely incredible picks. They make any acoustic guitar sound better, and they have made me a better player.
The feel of the TP48 in your hand is incredible and my accuracy and confidence has gone through the roof after using one of these for a few days. And now that i have had them for a month or so I could never go back to another pick.
I’m blown away at how much better of a sound I get out of any acoustic with these. They make the guitar ring!
I also have a friend who has played guitar for over 50 years and bought him a TP48 for his birthday and he told me the other day that he is mad at himself for not finding out about these sooner.
I have already purchased a few more pics, and plan on purchasing a lot more down the road. That said, I really really do not want to lose my new blue chip! I almost feel like it’s a part of me now!

The picks are expensive. But - they are well worth the price.
I carry them in a cute little bag with an AirTag so I can always find them. But - of the 500 or so picks in my bin I use 5 (anyone want some picks?). 4 of them are BlueChip picks and the other is a weird thumb pick that I love. I can't see myself ever using any other pick that BlueChip for 99% of my playing. Wonderful job to the BlueChip team.

Like everyone, I’ve been on a pick preference journey all my life. I bit the bullet and got my first Blue Chip, and there’s definitely something to this pick material. The sound is crisper, my guitar’s dynamics are easier-controlled, and the speed bevel is perfect for those Bluegrass runs I love so much. I’ll stick with Blue Chip from here on out.

I’m in love. Only guitar pick I’ll play with nowadays. Once you start using this pick, you won’t go back!!! I started using it because it is the same guitar pick Billy strings used along with Bryan Sutton!

I try a lot of different picks, and the BlueChip TP48 is the one that I want to play with above the rest. I like the feel, tone, and speed with which I can play; and it doesn't wear out. Worth the money in my opinion.

I love this pick, It's sturdy and yet it causes me to just concentrate on playing. If I can forget about the pick when I play, things are going well. If I'm worried about it, I might drop it, it's slipping etc, I'm finished and the intent of whatever I'm doing is lost because all I'm doing is thinking about picks! Can't say enough good things. It's the most perfect pick for flat picking I've ever owned.

Originally bought a TD45 based on experience using a friends which I loved. For some reason, I didn’t like the one I bought as much as the one I had previously borrowed. I sent it back, and requested the opportunity to try the TP48 instead. Blue Chip was awesome, I had the new TP48 in less than a week and love it. Would recommend to anyone. The pick is sturdy, easy to hold and creates a clean pure sound on the guitar.

I'm just a bluegrass newbie, but I purchased a big handful of other picks before biting the bullet and getting a blue chip. Guess I had to blow through a lot of lesser picks before realizing this is the one. I like the bevel which seems to make the pick quicker... and me a little more aware when I am attacking the string wrong. This is such a great pick, I immediately bought a back-up!
