1. BC is all I use.

   I prefer Bluechip above all. I used tortoise pics at $100 per pic and just like these better. They are very accurate, don’t slip as bad with sweat and bevel nicely for a hard hit when I need one. Rhythm or lead, the are just right.

3. The hype is real, and then some.

   All the hype is for real, and then some. This pick sticks to your fingers but isn't sticky, glides across the strings like no other, incredible tone, damn near everlasting durability. I don't make this claim lightly, but it's one of the pieces of gear that I could actually feel an improvement in my playing with due to how much better it is than anything else I have tried, imitators and competitors included. I haven't picked up another pick since it arrived, so any sticker shock has quickly dissipated.
   
   The one rounded end gives me a more mellow and quieter tone, and we have some finger pickers and rather quiet singers that show up to the weekly jam sometimes, so that comes in pretty handy. Also nice for solo accompaniment.
   
   I ordered it with my name engraved, and it shipped the same day within a few hours. It arrived three days later. Did not expect that kind of turnaround, so 5 stars for service too.

   This makes the 4th & each are just perfect & quiet. I use all of em with both acoustic and electric guitar. Bluegrass style mostly on acoustic, & fusion type stuff on electric.

   I've picked with these for a few years and finally decided to share, as a gift, these picks with my sons. They are my "forever" picks, both for Bluegrass and Oldtime!

   Awesome picks. Great tone, no maintenance required and they last for years. I used tortoise exclusively before I found these.

8. The One

   I’ve tried quite a few mandolin picks. I ordered this because I thought it would be perfect. It is! A lot of individual things I liked about different picks are all in this one. Excellent time, and you can play light or really dig in. The chop, even on entry level mandolin is excellent.

9. Found my favorite Blue Chip

   I've tried 4 BC picks, a TAD40-1R, a TP48, a TPR60 and now this TAD60-1R. I liked the tone of all of them, the 40 gave a slightly brighter sound which was nice for chords, and the 48 had an all around nice tone for general stuff on the guitar. My least favorite was the TPR 60, I just like the larger footprint of the TAD series for using the rounded edge better. The TAD60-1R is my favorite so far, I am getting great tone flat picking on my D28, and the predictability/feedback from the pick is just what I wanted. I can also use it on the mandolin with ease and get a fantastic tone with that as well. I mostly stick to the rounded edge I feel the tone is best with that and it gives you lots of options with dynamics just by changing the pick angle. I will likely order a couple more of these just in case my first one disappears.

    The best of the best I’ve tried so many different kinds how do you say but for some reason the blue chip stand above the rest tone wise the very dark which is what I like And now that I learned that they’ll put the grip holes in any pic that I order hands-down for me that the best and the Customer service are the best that I’ve ever dealt with great people great company great product
