This is the TAD-1R pick in 50/1000th of an inch(1.25mm) thickness. It is identical to the TAD, but HAS ONE ROUNDED CORNER. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Great feel and thickness for me. Not sure I needed one rounded tip but decided I would try it.

This is my second Blue Chip Pick. I bought a CT55 last year. I really like the 1 Rounded corner of the TAD50 1R. It works well for guitar strumming and mandolin tremolo. Thanks for an excellent product and service.

I have a number of Blue Chip picks, but I've settled on the TAD 2R 50 and 60 personally, mainly the 50. Love that you can custom order them with 2 rounded ends. No doubt worth the investment.
Get the box too!

I love my TAD50-1R. I used a Pykmax for years because I struggled with holding and controlling a conventional pick. I wish I would have tried the Bluechip pick years ago. The tone you get out of the Bluechip is fantastic too. I was leary of paying such a price for a single pick but it is worth every penny of it!

TAD-1R is my second BC pick and I'm thinking I should have ordered a 2nd wallet but I don't really want another thing to keep track of - do you have a multi-pocket option?

I was able to obtain a measure of pick control that I wasn't sure was possible. I play an HD-28 which I love but this pick makes me love it even more. I can put more energy into and getting more passion out of it.

I'd really struggled to find a pick for my guitar. I don't really flat pick but do a lot of clawhammer type stuff and the picks I had been using were so light that they sound a bit wimpy. The Blue Chip deepens the tone and brings out the character of my Larrivee in a way that other picks just dont. The bevel on the edges is perfect for when I do need to flatpick or just get clarity in melody playing. The smoother edge is great to have as well for more mellow sounds.

The title says it all!! I’ve got 2 of these and they just make every guitar I own sound “better”. A fuller, deeper sound is produced. Some may question that assessment and say that’s what you want to hear spending that on a pick. Nope. I’ve played different picks for non-musicians and every single one of them agrees. Some preferred different picks to their ears but all agreed, the Blue Chip produced a deeper sound.
