Product Description

This is the TAD-1R pick in 100/1000th of an inch(2.5mm) thickness. It is identical to the TAD, but HAS ONE ROUNDED CORNER. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.

Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

  3. Heavy duty 5 Star Review

As the headline says... one heavy duty pick. A whole lot of money for a pick, but the amount of control available is unlimited. And, as with all of the Blue Chip picks I've tried, the tone compares with the best tortoise shell. Note that it is a bit mellower sounding than the others I've played since it is thicker, but it works well for flatpicking, and is just about perfect for gypsy jazz.

  4. Ol' Faithful... 5 Star Review

Posted by on 11th Dec 2011

I've tried and own plastic picks, (Dunlop, Martin,Fender, etc...) I've tried boutique picks, (V-picks, RedBear, Heartwoodes, etc...) and I've come to not only rely on but enjoy this pick (plectrum) hands down. I've been playing acoustic guitar now 4 years and because I'm rather young at it one may think I'm not mature enough to voice an opinion... I have gone back and forth with my small collection during my practice sessions and tolerate the others but for performances during chapel services either conus or oconus I don't leave my living quarters without it. Can't say enough about the product without mentioning the owner(s). Thanks for believing in me enough to bless me with such a valuable gift and tool to better myself while honing my craft from hobby to stardom. You guys are the best and I'll never forget it.
