The SR is an extremely rounded triangle shaped pick in a 60/1000th of an inch(1.50mm) thickness. The bottom corner radius is greater than the top two corners. Our picks are all precision machined and hand beveled for the highest quality.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

If you want a pick that provides an articulate balanced tone across all strings and fast response, then this pick is a great choice. Service is also top notch!

Over the years I have bought three Blue Chip picks, each one having superb merits. The SR60 is my most recent purchase about three weeks ago and it is now my 'go to' pick for most of my playing.
This style pick with it's rounded edge is brilliant for faster playing on my mandolin.
Superb !
My one gripe which is nothing to do with 'Blue Chip' is the VAT charge for buying from the US and living in the EU !

My latest purchase, I now have three ! This is the slickest little pick of the lot. Really clear tone and brilliant for faster playing on my mandolin.
I highly recommend this pick to mandolin players.
For buyers in the UK beware ! I had to pay V A T because it was imported into the E U. !
I'm glad I voted to leave !

I have just received my third BlueChip pick which I am very happy with. See previous reviews.
Now the downside ! For the first time I have had to pay import tax here in Britain ! Amounting to more than half the price I paid for the pick !
Bloody outrageous ! I intend to appeal.
Now to go away and play some tunes and 'chill out'.
Brilliant picks though.

I've been using this pick for a while, and I got another "just in case."
I've used it for a few years, but sometimes I will change to a CT55 or TAD50 or Jazz 35 depending on the instrument (mandolin, mandola, octave); acoustic, plugged-in, or microphone; and if I am a lead or secondary instrument.
This is my go to pick for rich, unamplified small group settings.
And, it sounds lovely going through a red-eye pre-amp!

As always the blue chip never fails to amaze me. This is my 3rd blue chip. I have yet find a stringed instrument that it doesn't sound and play great..

I considered my RS 60 as "THE PICK" and of course right before an important gig it turned up missing, frantically I ordered two more, that's how well I like this pic. At first I used it for only flatpicking, but now I use it all the time,

I am new to mandolin, so my review probably doesn't really count :-). However, after four weeks of playing, and loving the instrument so much, I decided to splurge on this pick. I had seen it mentioned by some professional players online, and since I am learning mandolin online, I went with what seemed to make sense. I chose a round bevel, and I am glad I did. I can already hear the difference in my sound, and the pick is extremely comfortable to hold. After four weeks of my "textured" pick, I am loving the smoothness of this one too.
