I've always found it hard to use new fingerpicks. It's always hard to get new ones to fit and feel good. Until now! These picks didn't take long to get used to. They are so comfortable and the tone is really clean too, no pick noise. I've gotten so used to pick noise that I haven't noticed it until now when it's gone. Very nice!

Esthetics and functionality are very good indeed. However, there is room for improvement in at least one regard.
The inside front edges of the flanges are not bevelled round and they bite [unnecessarily] into the backs of my fingers.
The edges there should be round-bevelled like the outside edges. It's hard for the user to work on that inner edge because it's almost inaccessible.
I modified a pair of angled needle-nose pliers by gluing two thin strips of thin leather to the inside of the jaws and used the tool to bend the flanges into the contours of my fingers... still the edges bite into the skin just a little bit, so I'm working on them with some other tools; a slow and tedious job.
I'd buy another pair if this aspect of the design concept was modified. They're definitely the best fingerpicks I've ever used and, with a little more attention to detail, they would be close to perfect.

The most comfortable picks I have used, great tone! A great complement to my Blue Chip thumbpick.

Super sleek and smooth off the strings, these Sammy Shelor fingerpicks are the best I've ever put on. What a tone, and what a feel - worth it and then some.
I use Ssmmy fingerpicks on banjo, acoustic, electric and pedal steel guitar,

This is the first picks I have used. Great tone. I would highly recommend these picks to anyone.

I tried these with a blue chip thumbpick- switching from plastic thumb and 0.225 fingerpicks. Within about 5 seconds I could tell my tone was way better. 75 bucks in picks made my banjo sound 1000 bucks more expensive. I can also pull off some licks that I could only almost do with the other picks.

These are the Rolls Royce of finger picks, a bit pricey, but if you wanting comfort and tone these are the one to have.
They sparkle like jewels on my finger.

I received these finger picks a few days ago and I am totally impressed.
The most important thing to me is comfort and these picks are totally comfortable and yet fit securely.
My old picks dug into the cuticles on my fingers and occasionally fell off or caught a string in the middle of a song.
The next most important thing to me would be if they made a difference in the sound. The shape of the these picks is interesting. They seem to glide off the strings and make them ring like a bell.
Any banjo player would probably admit that the real secret to playing faster, better and sounding great is PRACTICE.
I agree. And these Sammy Shelor picks are so comfortable, I practice more with less discomfort.
For those who think the price is high all I can say is, think of these as finger jewelry and then they are a bargain.

These are the best finger picks I've ever used.
Comfortable. Easy to adjust to each finger. Don't slip off. They've brought out the best tones I've ever heard on my banjo.
