They improved my playing, what else can I say?

For many years I owned and played with (2 sets of 3) plastic finger picks I purchased in Mountview, Arkansas and then was never able to find again anywhere. The picks had no clear identification until ace luthier repairman Pat DiBurro of Exeter, NH put on his super magnifiying glasses and correctly i.d.'d them as D'Addario. In the meantime I had lost one of my two sets and wondered what I would so when I finally lost the 2nd.
I never particularly cared for metal picks, so it was on a lark that I tried the SS picks. I have not looked back. I still pull out the D'Addarios from time to time, but the SS picks have supplanted them as my go to picks.
My only wish is that they were sold in sets of 3 or singly. As it is I've purchased 6 sets to make 4 sets of 3. Guess it's good that I was serious about 3rd grade math studies. Or was that 9th grade?
PS: at the bottom of this page is an ad for a single SS pick, so perhaps some comments of the last paragraph are no longer true.

The Sammy Shelor Picks look fine, are well packaged with their own little plastic case. However, when compared to Dunlop finger picks, they are lacking in design. The Dunlop's are flared at the rear most portion of the pick where it wraps around your finger, therefore it is more comfortable, and seems to fit with out digging in.
The Shelor picks tend to cut into the finger at the back of the pick, and would require extensive reworking to make them fit comfortably. I intend to return these picks.

These picks are markedly superior to any picks I've ever used. The are extremely comfortable and fit snugly but without discomfort. Plus, they provide a warm yet bright tone and it seems to me that you get a louder tone without having to pick harder. I really like these picks.

Been using these picks now for 6 months and not only are they very comfortable, it makes it even easier to play dynamically. No sign of wear and tear!

I liked the Sammy fingerpicks really well. They are comfortable, have less pick noise due to the rounded shape and polish. I use 3, so had to buy more sets to get the extra one. They should sell singles, IMO. I bought 3 pair to get two complete sets. I was a fan of the old style Dunlop brass, which I like but these are better, no doubt.
