5 very rluctant to buy, at first
Posted by Sherman Glover on 27th Mar 2016
A friend started telling me how great, and me being scotch, replied never, never. After reading the reviews, I started thinking, is there something getting past me? So I bought a TAD-3R 60, not knowing what to buy. If I lost it(bought the pouch around my neck) Id buy another. I love this pick, so much, I would buy another now if I knew what I needed. What model? I really love the TAD-3R 60 Its great!

5 Another Level!
Posted by Lindon on 5th Sep 2015
Excellent feel and control. Have been trying different picks for 30+ years and this one takes me to another level. I ordered a TPR50 and TAD50-3R also. But the TPR is my favourite. The others are great for different guitars & songs, so I'll just take some time to work that out. Overall though, an outstanding pick. I play early 60's stratocasters through a couple of Tony Bruno amps. The TPR60 is worth every cent! Many thanks.

5 Don't let doubters put you off!
Posted by Malc Peet on 18th May 2015
I have played mandolin seriously for more than ten years. The first few were spent investigating, trying and purchasing different picks. None of the ones I tried produced the tone from the instrument that I wanted and they all twisted as I played or indeed were easily dropped. I then discovered and purchased my first Bluechip pick and was completely and immediately happy! They seem to last forever (especially the three point style), glide over the strings and stay glued to your fingers. They also produce a wonderful tone. Ignore friends who call you mad to pay the cost, they're a great investment and with some care I've only lost 2 in the last four years. A word of warning to UK buyers. You will pay VAT tax and Royal Mail handing charge. Finally, the Dobro picks are also excellent and last for ages!

I've been using these picks since 2008. I've not found anything else that does the job as well, let alone better. Brilliant!

5 Best pick I have ever had.
Posted by Marvin Rist on 28th Oct 2013
I used to gripe about spending more than $1 for a pick, but saw all of the hype about these and thought "why not"? I purchased one and absolutely love it. It feels and sounds great and feels like one of those picks that will pretty much last a lifetime. I'm sure it will wear out eventually, but I play mandolin constantly with it and pretty hard, and not even a scuff on it or signs of use. Pretty good stuff they must use to make this pick withstand that kind of abuse with no signs of wear whatsoever. Great pick.

5 Great Picks!
Posted by Daniel Crockett on 6th Apr 2013
I've played Bluechp picks for several years, having first played a JD Crow banjo thumbpick, and then moving on to guitar picks. I've tried several, including TD50 and 60, and TAD3R 50 and 60. The TD was too small for my hands, while the TAD3R was a tad too big, and torqued while I played. I'm trying both a TPR 50 and 60 now. The size and shape seem to suit me well, the sound is deep and solid on either pick, with all my guitars, and the pick feels smooth and fast. I've also tried Wegen, RedBear, Fast Turtle, and whatever the local music store has to offer in a heavy pick, but just really like these a lot. The TPR seems to be the pick for me. But I'd have to say that Blue Chip picks are generally the best I can find, and customer service is always great.

5 Deal Breaker
Posted by Bob Long on 14th Feb 2013
Wasn't sure before I tried one, but I'm very pleased with the TPR-60. Similar to Wegen's, but with out the graininess. It has extreamly smooth attack, and brings out the very best of my engleman top F-5. It's a solid investment.
