    Can't believe this one either...

Posted by Rags Moonie on 25th Jan 2013

I had purchased a TRP 50 and a TRP 60. The TRP 50 is a bit brighter than the TRP60 but I love the solid sure feel and tonal quality of the TRP 60. Deep rich lows and snappy highs; on my mandolin and as well on my Martin acoustic guitar too. I find myself swapping between the 50 and 60 during recording overdubs to add different tonal character to each track. But the TRP 60 is the one I use when I need smoother flow and deeper tones for the fast runs - It stays put in my fingers and no matter how I turn the pick it never changes the way I'm sounding. Speed bevel is the way to go! I will never purchase anything other than a BluChip Pick for any of my needs - beit an acoustic or electric guitar and for my electric bass as well along with, of course, the mandolin. GREAT INVESTMENT.

    Best Pick Ever!

Tis is the second one of these picks that I've bought. These picks have the best feel and tone of any pick that I've used.

I use it for electric bass!

This is a perfect thickness and shape for electric bass. Super smooth release, nice round defined tone. Three consistent rounded points with a bevel means there's no wrong way to hold it - all three sides are identical. Up to now I used the shoulder of a standard 451 pick - The TPR has a similar shape and feel but the same on all three sides and definitely more smoothly tooled and durable. Max
