5 Excellent all around pick
Posted by Timothy S Moore on 13th Mar 2018
I have several BC picks - including the CT55 and a TPR40. I primarily play mandolin. This pick is the one I love best. The perfect balance for a pick for smooth playing and single note plucks and tremolo. Great for jazz rhythm, celtic and bluegrass. I find this weight to be perfect for mandolin, better than the 55. Not too much plastic tone, in fact I don't really notice much of that, while I do on the other ones I have. It also is a great guitar pick.

Great service and great product. You can hear a difference in the sound of both a guitar and banjo when using blue chip picks. Will purchase again.

4 newbie bluepicker
Posted by Rick Tardiff on 24th Nov 2016
first let me say I rated this pick at 4 stars because I haven't got anything like it to compare it too. Its a whole new experience for me. A good one, but totally new. Since I got it I havent used anything else. As a matter of fact the only other pick in the case is yep, another bluechip! I'm also very new at mandolin so I thought what the hell I will go for it...$35 dollar pick! I play guitar have for years but guitar store dunlops was good enough...not anymore. Thanks for a great pick and excellent communication and delivery.

5 Best Picks I have ever used!
Posted by Mark Mills on 19th Oct 2016
I actually own and use a TPR40 for my acoustic guitar and love it! But it seemed a little thin on my mandolin. The TPR50 is perfect; just the right thickness for me and my style of mandolin playing.

I had used a friend's Blue Chip and liked it. I ordered two of the same pick but they sounded totally different. They were more clicky and the bevel seemed different. I''ve gone back to my other picks.

5 Thanking my teacher of flatpicking
Posted by Giordano Fiutem on 28th Jul 2016
When my teacher flatpicking Roberto Dalla Vecchia to the May 2016 workshop, I did try her pick Blue Chip I knew it was not a normal pick. The pick was beautiful and often gave great precision to the strumming on the guitar, and the sound was loud and clear. So I decided that I also wanted to pick the Blue Chip. Now I am very happy and my Martin D41 guitar sounds very good with new picks.
