1. n ot what i hoped for

   I had used a friend's Blue Chip and liked it. I ordered two of the same pick but they sounded totally different. They were more clicky and the bevel seemed different. I''ve gone back to my other picks.

   When my teacher flatpicking Roberto Dalla Vecchia to the May 2016 workshop, I did try her pick Blue Chip I knew it was not a normal pick.
   The pick was beautiful and often gave great precision to the strumming on the guitar, and the sound was loud and clear.
   So I decided that I also wanted to pick the Blue Chip.
   Now I am very happy and my Martin D41 guitar sounds very good with new picks.

   These picks just plain sound good! Clarity of attack and tone and a great smooth feel moving through the string.

   I approached Blue Chip picks with a healthy skepticism. But when pick met string all doubt left the building. This is the most facile, consistent, comfortable pick I've ever used. The smoothness, control and precision in attack are unlike any other pick I've tried. I use the TPR 50s for jazz and blues and they make my vintage L5s and 335s sing! The wear factor is imperceptible after several weeks of 3 steady gigs a week, lots of practice time and teaching demos. I would normally have gone through a dozen different picks over that time. The consistency AND DURABILITY are remarkable--no matter which point I use! And the transition from my normal small teardrop to the larger equilateral TPR 50 was a breeze; one would think some adjustment was required. That's how natural and welcoming they felt from the outset. Bravo, Blue Chip!

   At first, $35 for a guitar pick seemed ridiculous, but after trying several different pick models at MerleFest. I am totally in love with my TPR-50. In my opinion, this is the perfect mandolin pick. The rounded corners glide over the strings and the hard material gives nice volume.

   Played with a lot of picks before but nothing compares to the bluechip picks, I own several and I want buy any thing but Bluechip picks.

   The BlueChip TPR50 is the best pick I've ever used for mandolin. I'm more of a guitar player (for which I use TD50's) than a mandolin player. With that said, I am struck by how much this pick can enhance the tone of my mandolin. It can make a pac-rim mando sound more like a fine American mandolin or one of those beauties from down under. You know who I mean! A BlueChip pulls the woody tone out of a mandolin like nothing else on planet earth! BlueChip picks have rendered tortoise shell obsolete! So hurry and go buy one!!!

    I've tried the right bevel and round bevel and the right bevel is better for me. Even though I have big hands, I like this smaller size
