The TPR is our classic TP pick with corners that are slightly round in a 50/1000th of an inch(1.25mm) thickness. Our picks are all precision machined and hand beveled for the highest quality.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I like that it slides over the strings well and that it is easy to hold on to. The tone is brighter than I had hoped, so it's another nice pick.

Bluechip Picks changed my playing and my sound in the best possible way. Sounds great loud or soft. Variability of tone is amazing. The material is hard enough to be extremely durable, and yet there is very little noise on the attack (a problem with some hard picks). Countless players think nothing of dropping a hundred bucks on an effects pedal that comes with a cheap battery. Bluechip picks are a steal. Do yourself a favor.

My instructor introduced me to this pick. It has been an awesome pick to play with. I’m fairly new at playing mandolin. I play now with more confidence and I have no trouble with the puck slipping out of my fingers. My instructors says I playing louder and faster with this pick.
I never knew a really good pick could make such a big difference. Thank you for this design. I’ll be ordering more in the future.

I've been using these picks since 2016 when my flatpicking guitar teacher Roberto Dalla Vecchia has recommended them, since then I've only used those, I had two, now I'm four and I'm a happy guitarist.

Believe me, I was a skeptic at first. After receiving the TPR50, I was hooked. The comfortability and the tone are simply unmatched. If you're looking for a pick that will really produce some really crisp and warm tones, the rounded corner on the TPR 50 will do it and the size is comfortable and not too small. Great for the Bluegrass lead guitar and flat pickers I now own a TP50, TPR50, TD60, and the JD Crowe model thumb pick for my banjo. If you've spend $2,000 or more on your guitar, what's another 40 bucks?

Since first using Blue Chip TPR50 and Kenny Smith picks for mandolin, guitar, mandola & tenor guitar, some 7 years ago, I have been unable to use anything else. There is no competition.

The TPR pick is the right size and shape for my hand. I use the 40 for my guitar (Santa Cruz OM) and the 50 for my mandolin (Northfield). Other picks just don't sound as good. And these picks last forever. Get your engraved so no one can steal them without feeling guilty.

This is the only pick I use anymore be it Mandolin, Acoustic, Gypsy, Telecaster, you name it.
I have dozens of every size and style and I've settled on this one for all my picking needs.
Couldn't be happier.

I have several BC picks - including the CT55 and a TPR40. I primarily play mandolin. This pick is the one I love best. The perfect balance for a pick for smooth playing and single note plucks and tremolo. Great for jazz rhythm, celtic and bluegrass. I find this weight to be perfect for mandolin, better than the 55. Not too much plastic tone, in fact I don't really notice much of that, while I do on the other ones I have. It also is a great guitar pick.
