This version of the TPR was custom created for Doyle Lawson. We worked with him to create pick to his exact needs. This is the exact pick that Doyle Lawson is currently using. This TPR is our classic TP pick with corners that are slightly round in a 45/1000th of an inch(1.12mm) thickness. Our picks are all precision machined and hand beveled for the highest quality.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I wanted to try the Blue Chip for a long time and finally broke down and spent the money! Well worth it! Great improvement in tone and I couldn't be more pleased!

This was my first order and I was impressed how fast it was delivered and the quality of the pick. I love having a pick with my name engraved on it. It is my go-to pick now.

The tone from this pick is great, and they move through the strings with little effort and somehow stick to your fingers very well at the same time...I have the tpr 60 as well and all in all probably the best two picks I’ve used..hope this helps

Beautiful tone, durable with little or no wear after years of use. I alternate between several versions, but they are all great. Terrific service and quick delivery. Worth every penny!

I play different genres of music... Bluegrass to Jazz to Rock to Funk... Blue chip picks are NOW the only picks i use...when playing guitar or mandolin... I have at least 9 different models of Blue Chip picks... They are all fabulous!

The Blue Chip Pick is beyond any other pick I have used.
It provides an even hit on the strings, with the same clear tone for each hit due to the angle
I also believe I am playing faster with little thought to losing the pick out of my fingers due to the picks shape and texture

I have been playing guitar (Folk, Country and Bluegrass) for too many years (based on my apparent limited ability).
My introduction to Blue Chip was during the past several years, and thought the price was out of reach for what I thought the pick could offer.
This was totally wronnnnggggg. If you have an expensive instrument, you will get much better tone and clarity from each note you pick on your instrument.

I've been using TD 45 picks for several years now and have always been very happy with them. Only now - for a change - have I ordered a TPR 45. In comparison I found the TPR to be a bit less comfortable to handle, the tone a bit louder and brighter, apparently due to the more pointy shape. Will probably go back to the TD. Now this is a matter of taste.
I was surprised and a bit annoyed to find the surface of the new TPR marred with several scratches - both clearly visible and audible, and certainly just as much as my other BCs that I've been using for months and even years. Never happened before in any of my BCs; forgive my frankness.
Kind regards,
Hendrik

I have tried many picks and a hand full of the bluechips. Really honed in on this pick with the right shape and thickness for tone and attack. Love my TPR 45!
