The TPR is our classic TP pick with corners that are slightly round in a 40/1000th of an inch(1.0mm) thickness. Our picks are all precision machined and hand beveled for the highest quality.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I like the bevel on this pick. It fairly glides over the strings

I love the firm feel and the sound of my Blue Chip picks. Lots of mid range and great bass, with an excellent "woody" tone. They are all I'm picking up anymore!

I can't say enough about Matthew's work. Honestly, I am playing and sounding better, it feels better, I am more drawn to the Mando and Guitar and have become insanely rich using my Blue Chip - rich in texture and tone of coarse.

Execellent pick in every respect.

Playing on the first TPR 40 pick I bought 7 years ago, the lettering has worn off but the edges have not, this pick is indestructible! Can't say enough good things about it. I have not found a better tone in any other pick I've tried. Thanks for this great product!

I'm a Nashville stage and studio veteran of many years and I've also done extensive international work as well.
Matt has created a truly unique and great product here! These picks absolutely deliver the "ultimate tone and feel" and don't seem to wear at all. My first Blue Chip pick was a TD-50. My next order is for a few TPR-40's. In my honest opinion this is the pick we've all been searching for. I am really glad I discovered it, thank you Blue Chip Picks!

Having played mandolin for almost 30 years and struggling to find a pick that suited my style and gave great tone and speed, I've finally found it! My TPR 40 picks are exactly what I've been searching for.

Hi, Sorry to be so late with this review.
I love the Blue chip pick mostly because I can hold it in my hand when I am playing at a gig.-- Somehow it sticks to my fingers as I play as opposed to other picks that turn sideways in my 73 year old arthritic fingers.- I have tried every other pick I could get my hands on including contact with Dunlap pick Company in an attempt to make them re make a pick I loved from the 1980's but they said no.-- It is too bad you are not local so I could try your $40 picks before I buy.-- I took a chance and ordered them by mail but maybe you have other picks that might work for me too as I play mandolin, guitar on stage.- Bill Perry from Hampstead, NH

**this review is for a TPR50** I originally got the TPR50 for mandolin, but I find it is now my go-to pick for guitar. The rounded tip makes it darker, but it is still bright enough and very punchy to get a tone I really like. It plays great. I have had one for over a year and a half and it has no appreciable wear after frequent use. It is virtually indestructible with normal use.
