The TPR is our classic TP pick with corners that are slightly round in a 40/1000th of an inch(1.0mm) thickness. Our picks are all precision machined and hand beveled for the highest quality.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

This pick works very well with Om guitars with light strings. The guitar has a warm but articulate sound using this pick. The pick shape is comfortable for both strumming and flatpicking. As with all Blue Chip picks the design and craftsmanship make these picks very enjoyable to play with.

I love these picks! The tone is warm and bright and clear at the same time. No plastic or harsh sound.I can feel the smooth direct contact with the strings.

I have played guitar for over 60 years and in that time I have used many different types of picks, and I can say without a doubt that the BlueChip picks are the best I have ever used.
As the President and CEO of the Southeastern Bluegrass Association and a performing professional bluegrass musician with my band Georgia Grass I would recommend the BlueChip Picks to anyone looking for a great product. I prefer the TPR45 when playing my old Martin because it brings out the tone and feels smooth to me when playing rhythm or when flatpicking. I also used a BlueChip thumb pick when playing my Banjo. I also like the fact that you can have your name engraved on your pick.
Thank You for a Great Product

I’ve played the TPR 40 for 1 week … incredibly tacky in the hand and doesn’t slip around yet slick and butter when I strum the strings . Interesting. Comfortable and great overall tone . I’ll be buying the TPR 50 soon for Archtop with Flatwounds . Picks matter . -Ryan Ness

I have thoroughly enjoyed my TPR pick. The design of this pick allows me to have better control and speed accuracy. I own three of these picks at different thicknesses and have been absolutely pleased with their performances. My humble thanks to the BlueChip team and their dedication to producing a Top Notch product. ??

Great! I asked to have TPR 40's made to 35's. I like a little lighter than 40 sometimes.
Great pick!

I've been playing these pick for years. Now, any other pick feels anemic.

Only pick I use. Bought four of them and two other shapes to try. TPR 40 is great for electric, acoustic, and mandolin. The rounded edge warms up the tone and eliminates some pick noise. These picks slip less and rest comfortably between my fingers when I stash for fingerstyle. The price is the only downside.

I love picking with a blue chip pick. They glide over the strings instead of dragging. I can feel a difference. Finally found a shape I like in a pick in the TPR40 BUT.my wife inspired me to buy this pick because I saw a "Father's Day" advertisement in my email. I was suppose to get a 'Free, Pick Pouch" with each order over $20. Blue Chip failed to live up to their advertisement and provide me the FREE pick pouch...

I love this pick. I’ve had many Blue Chips over the years, and this is my favourite so far. I think I’ve found the *one*. The TPR40 balances tone and playability better than any pick I’ve had so far, perfect for flatpicking and accompaniment.
