Product Description

The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 50/1000 of an inch thickness(1.25mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.

Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

    Amazing pick. Perfect size.
    Speed bevels are outstanding!
I used a tortoise shell custom shaped pick for 14 years. I have now found its replacement.

  3. Awesome brand of guitar picks! 5 Star Review

I bought this pick for my boyfriend while I have the TP48. The TP48 is perfect for my finger size, and the TP50 is perfect for his. Blue Chip picks are honestly the best, they create such a warm tone when you play and stay in your fingers and don’t slip out. Would 100% recommend!

  4. All good stuff with this company. 5 Star Review

I am so impressed with a modern day company and product that if it were to stop production their product would skyrocket on the used vintage market. Once you use these picks the price seems low. I can't imagine a better product. The feel, the grip, the tone all make these picks, (thumb pick too) jewels. Hands down and by a huge margin, these picks are the very best.

My son is an avid teenage acoustic guitarist. His teacher recommended this pick to improve his speed and cut down on the number of picks he burns through. He is very happy with the purchas. 5 stars

  6. Best I've found! 5 Star Review

I've been using the Wegen BG or Dunlop Primetone triangle and I'm a bluegrasser. Tried this one since it was shone to be just a bit smaller than the Primetone. Size is perfect. Control, sound, grip are great. Also have used the TD which is great but I've moved on from teardrop picks. Would recommend if your currently using the Primetone.

  7. convinced 5 Star Review

I have been very pleased with the blue chip! I started with the TP 50 and recently purchased the TP 40. Trying to decide which is best for my style of playing although I still use them both. Wouldn’t part with either one. This pick actually forms itself to my thumb and index fingers making it nearly impossible to drop. My ears tell me that the tone is better than any pick I have ever tried! Thanks Matthew!

  8. greatest pick on the planet! 5 Star Review

The TP50 is my favorite pick out there! Great tone and speed. Had mine drilled with holes for extra grip. It’s now the only pick I use.

  9. Perfect Pick!!! 5 Star Review

In the past six months I purchased a slew of new picks to try. I gradually eliminated one after another until I had three different left. I rotated these three with my playing for several months, but I kept coming back to the BlueChip TP50. This pick is perfect for my playing - smooth, fast, and a sure grip that does not require on the fly position adjustments. Perfect for me!

  10. TP50 5 Star Review

This is my third Blue Chip. I also own a td50 and TAD45. Guitar players talk in great detail about tonewood and strings etc etc and fork out a great deal of cash on guitars and gear. Yet little attention is given to the very thing we flatpickers use to actually use to get our sound. I’ve used many picks over the years And I’m very impressed by the tone and durability of Blue Chip picks. Now that I’m used to them . Nothing else will do.
