The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 50/1000 of an inch thickness(1.25mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Blue chip has really created something unique with their picks.
First, the sound is very clean; much better than anything I’ve ever had. I also believe the beveled edges help your technique. I have found over the years that sometimes I really enjoy strumming a guitar. I love Gibson flat tops and the blue chip TP 50 pick sounds incredible with these guitars.
I never imagined I would spend $35 on a pick, but it’s worth it!

It took me a long time to step up to the plate and buy at the price. Now, I wonder why I waited so long. And the customer service is second to none.

These are the most important tool for my craft. There is no better pick and no substitute for these and they are worth every penny....The only issue is that there are only 5 stars available to rate them, honestly they are more like a 10.... best of the best. AAA+++

Like many reading this post, I could not see myself paying more for a pick than I would for hard-candy at the grocery store display. But I sprung for one after reading all the great reviews by trusted guit pickers. Then I bought two more. Just two tips: DO NOT drop them when playing outoors or on earth-colored carpet, and strongly consider the wooden box to store them in. If i leave picks laying around loose, then tend to fall through wormholes into parallel universes.

I have been aware of Blue Chip picks for a number of years but hesitated to purchase one for several reasons. First of all, the price. Secondly, I had been using medium thickness picks for a number of years and was concerned that the rigidity of them wouldn't work for me.
Recently, a student of mine gave me 2 of the TD-35 picks and one CT-55. I really didn't want to like them but I took to the feel and tone immediately. At first, I preferred the TD-35 and liked the relatively thin pick combined with the rigidity and smoothness of the material. I really liked the tone compared to my Tortex picks and the lack of pick drag actually made certain things easier to play. Over time, though, I started really preferring the triangular CT-55 which is odd because it is around 1.4mm - way thicker than what I am used to. The tone it created was fantastic, though, and it was even easier still to play fast lines on my guitar. Since then, I decided to try the TP-50 which is slightly smaller than the CT-55 and is slightly thinner at 1.25mm. I find it to be the best of all worlds for my applications. Both strumming and single note lines are a joy and I like it with my electric and acoustic guitars. I have some concern about losing it but I've been good so far and tend to keep all of them in a pick box to keep track of things. Highly recommended.

I bought this pick after watching some YouTube reviews and reading forums. It glides between strings like a hot iron on a frozen lake. Whether I’m playing acoustic guitar, mandolin, or any style of electric guitar from blues to heavy metal I grab my blue chip. On clean electric and acoustic especially the attack is always expressive and noticeably better than the nylon picks I’ve been using for the last 10 years. Like the title said this is my new pick I will not be switching back.

This pick size gives outstanding control while the shape and thickness lets it glide over the strings. A crisper tone than using the shoulder on a TD style. I think I finally found the best pick out of the best picks available!

Love these picks. Not my first and won’t be my last. The material they are made of is great, has the sound and feel of tortoise shell, but they are close to indestructible. They take forever to wear down. And I love the way they feel kind of sticky to your fingers. They are really the best for flatpicking!

My Bluechip picks came quickly and nicely packaged. These picks are completely worth their price. The picks are easy to hold and don’t slip out even with dry hands. I feel the control is better than with a normal mass produced pick. And the tone from my T50 pick is warm and full. So, great quality, great control and great tone!
