The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 50/1000 of an inch thickness(1.25mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Prior to buying the TP50 I never really put serious thought into my guitar picks. I recall asking at a college party if anyone had a quarter I could use as a pick. Yes, I was that acoustic guitar guy. Fast forward ten years and I start catching on that all of the musicians I look up to use these Blue Chip picks. So I decided I’d pick one up. My gasp was audible. “That’s a pricey pick!” I said aloud while I waited for my my $6 coffee. The coffee is critical to this, because if I hadn’t just spent $6 on subpar copy I probably would have just used a quarter to pluck the ol strings. But I rationalized that the pick is really just the price of 6 coffees. I’d just take a week off from Starbucks and buy one of these bad boys. See what the hype is all about, you know?
The pick came in the mail a few days later. Speedily shipped and lovingly packaged, this order was. Immediately I could tell it wasn’t like the picks (and spare change) that I was used to. No, this thing stayed in my grip so well I could almost forget it was there. Then I struck the strings. It was a G Major chord with the ninth added for flavor. My guitar sounded different. It sounded much fuller. Within 30 minutes I was sold on it. This pick has really increased my dynamic range as a player. I feel more a part of the music that I ever have before. If I lost it I would surely by another. If I’m at a show and the following act asks if I have a pick they can borrow then I will lie to them. “No,” I’ll say, “sorry I just have a quarter. You can keep it though.” All the while I’ll be turning the TP50 over in my pocketed hand like Gollum from The Lord Of The Rings.
I love Blue Chip Picks!

Great feeling pick. The first thing I noticed is it doesn’t slide around like other picks while i am playing. The shape is also nice and something i didn’t expect to enjoy so much. And this is slightly intangible, but I do think it also imparts a positive effect on tone. All in all happy i splurged on one to see what all the fuss is about.

It’s by far the best pick I have ever owned. Well worth the money. I find I’m playing the guitar a lot more because of it. I’ll definitely buy more in the future.

I can’t find an accurate description to how I can tell a difference. The tone, the attack, the feel, and even the contact with the strings , are all smoother. I dig it. I’m Bluechip for life now.

My Blue Chip TD-50 is way too expensive until you play something with it. It then becomes extremely inexpensive per note! I also needed it to keep company with my TD-45 and my TAD-3r 50.

Love the buttery glide feel. Almost as if no thought of pick in hand. Just feels very natural. My 3rd purchase. Dog chewed one. Keep up great wirk. Ed

Blue chip has really created something unique with their picks.
First, the sound is very clean; much better than anything I’ve ever had. I also believe the beveled edges help your technique. I have found over the years that sometimes I really enjoy strumming a guitar. I love Gibson flat tops and the blue chip TP 50 pick sounds incredible with these guitars.
I never imagined I would spend $35 on a pick, but it’s worth it!

It took me a long time to step up to the plate and buy at the price. Now, I wonder why I waited so long. And the customer service is second to none.
