The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 50/1000 of an inch thickness(1.25mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

These are the perfect fit for me.
I have been a professional musician for 23 years, I gig every single day of the year. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it is the truth. I exclusively use Bluechip Picks. They allow me to switch from bluegrass, to country, to rock and always have the same feel no matter the instrument. I also play banjo and love there JD Crowe model thumb picks.
You can’t go wrong if you need a replacement for tortoise picks.

Don't get me wrong...it's a really nice pick.
But let's get serious here.....IT'S A PICK.
It doesn't produce a phenomenal tone, it's nice but not great. I have Snark picks that give a better tone. I can also get a better tone with picks cut from credit cards.
The bevel is nice but it hasn't improved my flatpicking at all. Maybe I'm different than most pickers? In fact, I find the bevel slides by the string and doesn't give me the same tone as celluloid....which is good for speed but not so much for tone. You can get the same result from a little effective practice.
The semi-grippy material is nice.
I'm told they last forever.
But at the end of the day, it's still just a pick.
For $35? C'mon man.
Maybe 3 picks for $20 would get a higher rating? IDK, it's still just a pick.

Pricey but worth every penny. Outstanding for flat picking and strumming as well. A definite game changer.

I got my 3rd Blue Chip pick for Christmas and it is simply awesome - as are the others in my collection. I got this one engraved and it looks great.

It came as a bit of a surprise but the descriptions on the website are accurate and the pick you get is exactly what the product description says.
No over- promising and under- delivering here.

I had heard about blue chip picks and frankly I wasn’t sure what the fuss was about. It’s just a pick right? I’ve tried just about everything out there from cheap and classic picks to handmade agate picks. The drawback to stiffer picks is that they are either very bright sounding and make a lot of string noise or they are dull sounding. These strike the perfect balance - they can be bright or mellow and the stiffness and yet still thin profile means they feel very precise when picking. I will be buying more and I see what the fuss is all about now. Thanks Bluechip!!
