Product Description

The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 50/1000 of an inch thickness(1.25mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.

Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I purchased a few TP50’s and they have exceeded my expectations. Pick grip is better and string tone too. I’m now also using with my electric guitar jam band.

Just started guitar playing a year and Half ago and decide to go for a Blue Chip TD50 , i know Blue chip picks for a long time i own 3 thumb picks as a banjo player and love theme, the TD50 is the perfect thickness for my playing style (Bluegrass) i don’t regret it one minute every night i sit down and play it is just nice to have such a great pick that glides over the strings, for myself quality is a must when playing music. Thank you BlueChip picks for making such a good product.

  4. I will buy more. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 11th Nov 2022

At first I wasn't sure it was worth it... I am an OK player, not expert by any means. After a few weeks, whenever I've tried to go back and play other picks in my pick-box, I realize how much better the Blue Chip feels and sounds. It's truly special and makes playing feel really good (and sound better too).

The pick material feels good in your fingers. It has a tone unlike any other plastic pick. I will use these picks from now on.

  8. My Favorite Pick 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Oct 2022

I've played guitar for more than 20 years, and in that time I've tried virtually every pick in existence. BlueChip is the best of the best. They barely show any ware after heavy use, you barely have to grip them at all and they don't no matter how hard you whack the strings, and the speed bevels make them glide across the strings like butter. Bonus: They don't leave pick dandruff all over your precious instruments.

  9. Outstanding for speed picking on my mandolin 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Oct 2022

When playing fast solos on my mandolin I am always trying to eliminate as much drag as possible. The TP50 allows me to hit strings cleanly and efficiently with minimum resistance.
    I'll never use another pick!

  10. The TP 50 - a great sounding pick for many kinds of playing 5 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Sep 2022

I have been using the TP 50 for the past four years and it is my favorite pick. It is easy to hold, it is fast, and it helps me get a sound that is clearly articulated and warm without sounding muffled. I also find that it works well on all of my guitars in a variety of playing situations.
