    Love these picks

Posted by Mike M on 18th Jan 2018

I just bought the TD 35 and 40 and have nothing but great things to say. I gravitated from Tortex to here largely because of the slippage. These picks glide off of the strings but not out of your fingers - they’re great. I love the string clarity and tone too.

Please see my review of TD35

Posted by Der Duck on 8th Jan 2018

The TD40, like the TD35, is the finest pick I have used (including brief experience with one made from a dead tortoise). Please see my review of TD35, I use both interchangeably depending on how I feel that night and whether I am outside or in. Heavier pick for outside.

    As Advertised

For a long time, I held off on buying a Blue Chip pick, because I questioned how much better a $35 dollar pick could really be compared to the under-a-buck stuff I'd been using. When I finally took the plunge and got my TD40, it didn't take long to wish I'd done so sooner. It's everything I'd heard it was, and everything I'd hoped it would be.

    you can pick your friends...

I did a pick shoot out for a recording session laying down some acoustic guitars. Fellow band mates and engineers were dubious about that $40 pick I had. After moving through a few picks I used the bluechip and I saw their eyes light up, 'that's the one'. It sounds just right.

    Smooth and strong

I have tried several Blue Chip picks and have decided that the TD series works best for me. The TD's stay in my somewhat arthritic hands without a tight grip. I think the best thing about the picks is that I can feel the strings without getting hung up on them. A summary is the TD's are comfortable, smooth and produce a strong mid range tone.

I love my Blue Chip TD 40

Posted by Michael on 3rd Oct 2017

I have been using it for a little over 2 weeks with my mandolin and acoustic guitar. It took minutes to get comfy with it. I even did an electric show and my electric guitar sound was never better. Basically I wanted test drive a Blue Chip and see what all the talk was about. It was a bit costly, but I plan on ordering a few more, with my name on it. Please, don't ask me if you can borrow my Blue Chip pick. You probably won't want to give it back me.

    Believe the Hype

Posted by Tom M. on 27th May 2017

Short and Sweet, I absolutely love Blue Chip Picks and from the minute I picked one up and used it on both my electrics and acoustics every other pick I've ever used became trash and thrown out. They play Fast, and you can flatpick like your wielding a sword from another era through those strings.Depending on thickness you can get brighter tones or darker and the speed bevel is amazing. Great product, I do wish they were cheaper but if the source has to pay a lot for the material then for now we are stuck at this price and I will pay it.

    Indispensible Performance Pick

Posted by Robert Hairfield on 26th May 2017

Been playin' guitar 50+ years, been thru alotto' picks. Nothing even comes close to the benefits of this pick. Its my performance pick. Played Rock n Roll, Blues, and the last few years Bluegrass and Old Time Fiddle music. Played my first BC pick 2 years with hardly any wear! Good grip, less "click" and wears like iron! Yes, they are extremely expensive, but IMHO are worth every penny! And I'm cheap, clippin coupons, always buy on sale, etc. Try one, you will not be disappointed! Recommend getting the $4 carrying case (i cable tie mine loosely to one of the tuning handles) so you dont lose your $40 investment. (last one I had engraved for $5 more) Enjoy! Rockin' Robert
