    Great feeling and tone.

I'm glad I took the plunge, and I think you will be as well. Great feel, grip, and tone. These picks are definitely an upgrade over my old favorites.

Bought a TD-35 then decided I needed a TD-40 as well. Both are great.

Just don't get any better than blue chip. Makes Bluegrass picking so much better. Stop reading and order yourself a couple.

    Exceptional product

Posted by Matt on 27th Mar 2018

I was tired of buying picks - kind of like the increasing cost of disposable razors, I didn't like shelling out money over & over, & I also got frustrated with picks as they'd wear down & then I'd find myself with 200 not-optimal-condition picks lying around. So I'm not a bluegrass player – I mostly play effed-up electric blues & post-punk, although I do like to touch on all styles. I'd been using Tusq picks, which I think have a very reponsive attack with nice overtones, & Dunlop Primetones; those are the most "alive" sounding picks I've used other than string-shredding steel (they beat copper & aluminum). The Blue Chip matches/beats them tonally; the unique grip aspect of the Blue Pick also makes the pick become part of your hand, which creates a bit of a learning curve. I would forget I was holding the Blue Chip & scrape my fingers occasionally on the strings, which stopped happening once I got used to it. The only sonic criticism I would say is it's harder to make pick scrapes against the strings – they're not as bold for some reason. Considering I overuse pick scraping as part of my playing, I am thankful it has reduced my reliance on it! In any event, I hope this is the only pick I own forever (although I think I will also get the next thickness up, too, eventually).

    Yes, they are worth it!

Posted by Ray L on 19th Mar 2018

I was a doubter. I asked myself, "Could a pick at that price point really be worth it?", "Are they really as good as everyone says they are?" The answer is yes, they are that good and worth every penny. The tone is noticeably much better than any other pick I've ever used and the feel on the strings is like greasing up your picks with some type of magical substance that allows the pick to just glide over the strings despite the thickness of the pick. I feel like I am better at playing guitar when using a Blue Chip pick and to me that makes any price worth it.

    Best pick I've ever used.

Was recommend to purchase these from my guitar teacher. I was a little skeptical at first, but after purchasing one I've fallen in love. Easy to hold, long lasting, plays well, and sounds great. Plus it's fun to tell all your guitar buddies about your $40 pick :)

    I'm a believer

Excellent picks. I don't know how they do it but something about them makes them special. A step up from the Primetones that I also use.

    Completely Satisfied

When you first pick up a guitar the pick drag and friction can be a real drag. :) The material and way better the picks are finished are second to none. Thank you all for keeping up the quality. Ray
