I tried many different guitar picks. So far, Blue chip picks are the best guitar picks for me.

  3. blue chip picks 5 Star Review

What a great pick! It sits very comfortably between your thumb and first finger- not a sticky feeling, but it never slips. The sound of the pick on the strings is mellow and smooth.
    An excellent product!

  4. Beautiful Tone 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Sep 2019

This is a very nice pick that sticks to your fingers and promotes a relaxed grip. The material seems to optimize the tone of my guitars no matter which strings I’m using. I fully expect it will be durable as none my other five BlueChips show any appreciable wear.

  5. Great Pick 5 Star Review

I have been practicing flat picking for 3-4 years. i thought that all pick we created equGreat Pickal. They are clearly not. This pick us worth all that I paid, I have lost a couple and bought replacements. They are simply the best.

  6. What a Difference 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Apr 2019

I have always had issues with picks moving and spinning and ultimately sliding out of my fingers. This pick has solved all of those issues and allowed me to play more aggressively with a lot less stress!
The other noticeable difference is the sound coming off my mandolin. It has a more "woody" sound which enhances the chop chords sound. I couldn't be happier!

  7. where has this pick been all my life 5 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Jan 2019

To put it simply, I play better using your product. I have a mild deformity with my index finger. The slightly enlarged TAD, along with the bevel are huge! Thank you. I name some of my picks Blue Alex , after my boy cat who likes to howl in the hallway at nights. Guess he’s lonely...

  8. Great pick 4 Star Review

Great pick, sound tone good but as a hard bluegrass picker, they eventually do get burrs. I haven’t tried to send them back for refurbishing but I assume BC would.
Overall, best pick on the market

  9. skeptic 5 Star Review

I thought I had thrown away $$ for a pick, but was immediately surprised- the bluechip has a really dynamic feeling, is easy to grip, has a nice tone. Takes some getting used to as it does seem to glide off the strings. (Collings MT mandolin)

  10. TAD60 vs PrimeTone 1.5 4 Star Review

Posted by on 14th May 2018

Comparing this to the flat (not embossed) triangle PrimeTone 1.5 (My only pick for the last several years):
    Basically identical size and thickness.
    BC is slightly more flexible.
PT slightly more rounded on the points.
BC really DOES stick to your fingers for no apparent reason.
With no modifications, BC gives a bit more high pluck, and the PT more Mid-Pop. Round a corner of the BC microscopically, re-bevel and MOST IMPORTANTLY re-polish (try toothpaste) and the difference mostly disappears.
Tremolo might be a bit easier with the BC.
The slight bit of give in the BC is probably what the Dr ordered for my geriatric wrist and elbow, so I'm likely to stick with it.
Not sure I'd buy another at the price, though.
