Product Overview

This is the TAD pick in 60/1000 of an inch(1.5mm) thickness. It is shaped identically to the TP, but is slightly larger. All BlueChip Picks are professionally machined, laser engraved, and hand beveled.

Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Love it. I like the size. Have several other BC’s. This and the CT 55 are my favorites!

    good pick

Posted by Rich on 22nd Jun 2021

it doesn't slip and slide when I first pick it up. It's supposed to be a medium gauge but it seems a bit on the heavy side. The beveling makes for easier and faster picking. All in all I like it

Best plectrum in the market for clean tones.

Posted by Massimo Tonson Latour on 14th May 2021

I am a pro and have been playing classical and electric guitar for 58 years. Currently playing jazz archtops like Tal Farlow, Gibson L 5 CES and L4 CES . I have tried so many different pics and far too many to remember. The Blue Chips might be an expensive pic but I believe it is worth all the money The TAD 60 is easy to hold, fast and super clean. It actually brings out the natural sound of the archtop with sustain, clarity and beautiful presence. The guitar is more alive and it sounds more majestic bringing out a character and a voi e similar to a piano making perfect for solo performances. Thank you Blue Chip. I have now 4 of the TAD 60 pics and will be promoting it with musicians friends of mine that are desperate for something as good. I live In Melbourne and a boutique plectrum like the Blue Chip is not available from our retailers. I am more than happy to pay for the transport cost for such a wonderful tool. Spending a fortune on guitars an amp makes no sense unless you have a Blue Chip plectrum to complete the job. Cheers and buy it with confidence. And no! I do not have an interest in the Blue Chip Company. I just love it so much. Massimo

    I love Blue Chip Picks

Posted by Gantt Kushner on 8th Feb 2021

There's something magical about the stuff they use to make these picks - they SOUND great (most importantly), seem to wear really well (slowly!) and, for some weird reason, they don't slip and slide around between my fingers. Magic.

Foreign, weird but so correct !! Pick attack is amazing. Very comfortable. I’m a heavy Sweater in my hands , and surprisingly it doesn’t slip.

    helpful holes

Posted by mike on 11th Jan 2021

I’ve had several because of your quality product. I use a drill bit, turned by hand, to imprint 4 shallow divots above the logo and 3 below. This increases the tactile grip along my thumb. Thanks for a great product & happy new year
